Sterling Silver and Black Onyx Earrings For Everyday Wear

The earrings are .925 sterling silver, which is always a plus in my book. If I have a choice of metal, it will always be silver. Forest Charm Earring From Novica Offer Simple Elegance To Your Look

This is Forest Charm from Novica, and the earrings are just gorgeous. Believe me, the pictures do not do them justice. The earrings are made from .925 Sterling Silver and have Malachite stones mounted on them. The silver is beautifully made and shines like crazy. I just love the little details in the design.

The malachite is a beautiful green that has veins of different colors of green flowing through the stones. I really love how simple, yet elegant these stones are. They are the perfect color for me. I wear a lot of greens and these go with so many different outfits I have.

The beauty of the product and the details are not all that is significant from Novica. Their packaging is too. Each piece arrives in a special way to protect the piece or pieces of jewelry from getting damaged.

They arrive in a plastic bag. Inside that plastic bag is a cloth pouch. The kind of cloth varies by the region of the world that your particular piece was made in.

Beautiful, Intricate Design For the Discerning Man

Komang is a wonderful artisan who lives in Celuk, the silver capital of Bali. One of the things he does is work with Novica through National Geographic. He designs special pieces just for Novica that are wonderful, full of beautiful details and are timeless.

One piece that I have the privileged of owning is called "Flowing Waters". It is the most beautiful bangle bracelet I have seen in a long time! The bracelet was designed for men, but I don't think it looks too bad on a woman either. It is made of .925 sterling silver and has six intricately woven bands of silver that look like a flowing river that wrap around your wrist.

This is not a simple, light weight piece of jewelry. This is a substantial piece that has some weight to it, yet while you are wearing it, feels comfortable and familiar. It also stands out without being gaudy or overbearing. It's a statement piece for any modern man.

Simply Elegant Earrings

Simple elegance is something I truly appreciate. I am not a gaudy person by any means, and finding something that makes a lovely statement while still being attention getting is not easy.

Novica has helped me with finding something that is elegant, delicate, and makes a statement. Sunrise Spirit is a wonderful pair of Amethyst and cultured Fresh Water Pearl earrings made with .925 Sterling Silver. I absolutely adore these earrings.

As soon as I received them, I put them on and could feel how nice they were going to be. The weight of them is negligible. They feel so light and airy while wearing them. The closure on the back gives me security while wearing them too. I have very long hair and have caught many a pair of earrings in it and lost some that way.

The silver is exquisite. It is very well crafted. One can hardly see where the silver was soldered. The artisan who made these, Kenari, is a true craftsman. She is a very talented designer and I love her pieces. Kenari is Balinese and works with Novica in association with National Geographic. I really appreciate how Novica aims at helping artisans all around the world produce and sell their beautiful work. We are the better for it.

I was very impressed with the two amethyst stones. Their total weight is 1.5 carats, and each stone is just lovely. I wish the pictures showed just how beautiful they are in person.  They are clear and bright, and the color is amazing. The more sunlight on them, the brighter they are. I have received many compliments while wearing these and could not be happier about that. They are noticed and appreciated for their beauty and not for being in your face. One of my best friends said they hang down at the perfect length and I agree with her.

The small fresh water pearls just add to the elegance. They are a nice contrast to the amethyst, and add so much to the total look against the sterling silver. All four of the stones are backed completely except for small holes behind the amethyst to allow light to penetrate the stones.

The earrings arrive in individual plastic bags to keep them from bumping around on each other and getting scratched. They are slipped inside a nice little cloth bag and include a small book, like all Novica pieces do, that tells you about the artisan and what they made. I really appreciate the little books. I learn about who made them and it makes a connection between me and them and the jewelry more personal.

I would highly recommend these earrings to you for any of the women in your life. They are perfect for feeling a little more dressed up without overdoing it, although they work well with jeans and a sweater too. I can see them worn by women and teens alike and both just loving them.

Classic Design With That Extra Little Something

One of the most classic kind of earrings almost all of us have is a good pair of hoops. They work with everything, from casual to dressy, and they just feel good while you are wearing them.

But if you are like me, you don't want just average hoop earrings, you want something that has an extra little something. That's one reason why I love this pair of hoop earrings. They have that extra little something and I love that.

Novica teamed up with a very talented artisan, Kenari, who comes from a family of silver workers and is Balinese, to make these beautiful .925 sterling silver floral hoop earrings and share them with us. The shape is classic and just the right size. Each hoop is 1" in diameter, a perfect size to make a simple, yet elegant statement.

The design of the earrings is just lovely, a row of simple flowers, one right after the other, curving from front to back. It gives the earrings that little extra something that is nice to have in a classic design.

I love wearing these earrings. With 3 feet of long hair, I have struggled with hoops, getting my hair caught and either pulling the earring out or tugging on my ear to the point that it really hurts. Even with the floral design, my hair has not caught once on these earrings. With the back closure the way it is, my hair has nowhere to hook into. It has saved me from losing one and from tugging on my ears.
