Looking For A Drying Rack? Well, Look No More!

It's almost sweater season. In a few weeks I'll be dragging them out so I can start wearing them. I love my sweaters, but to be honest with you, I hate having to wash them. It's not fun and then trying to lay them flat to dry, well UGH!! I have an old wooden drying rack, but the design of it just does not work for laying things flat. Sure things can hang fine, but not lay flat.

So when I got the Ohuhu 43" Foldable Stainless Steel Drying Rack I was almost giddy! First, it's stainless steel, which means it will hold up for a good long time. But there are more reasons why I really love this drying rack.

The drying rack can be folded down and takes up little storage space when not in use. It's only 5" wide. Living in a small home, that's a big deal! It also is super easy to set up. In less than 2 minutes, it's ready to use. The feet are covered and it does not slide around. Yet the whole rack is light enough to carry around when not in use.

The rungs of the rack are close enough together you can lay things on top to dry flat, yet far enough apart to get good air circulation when you hang things from it to dry. They also are high enough you can hang shirts an other items on hangers to dry. Also you can adjust the sides to several heights and angles, to accommodate what it is you need to dry. You can set it up with one side up and one down or both sides up. It really is very convenient, especially as a space saver. There is even a lower rack for smaller things. Each of the rods are smooth, so nothing will catch on them. Plus there are safety hooks to help keep the support arms in place making the whole thing very sturdy.

This is a fantastic drying rack and I can highly recommend it to you!

Easy To Set Up & Take Down Canopy From Ohuhu

This time of year it is so nice to spend time with family and friends, but getting stuck in the hot sun for hours on end can be rough. That's why having some kind of shelter from the heat is always nice. Having some kind of canopy to put up and take down as needed is always handy for special events. Ohuhu has a really nice canopy that is not only easy to put up but is easy to store too.

The canopy is 10'x10' and comes in a really nice canvas storage bag with wheels on the bottom. It has two large heavy duty straps to help you carry it around too. Now I will tell you, it's heavy. It's really heavy, which is a good thing because that means it is made of substantial material that will hold up. In fact it has a steel frame. This to me is a big deal. We had one years ago that was aluminum and it gave out after just a few uses and one good wind gust. This canopy can handle some wind and some rain, although they recommend taking it down in heavy rain and winds.

We found that it is not easy for just one person to put up on their own. You really need two, although my guys tried on their own and after a LOT of finagling were able to get it up. They don't think it is a good idea to do it alone. Everything you need to set it up is in the bag and the directions are pretty clear with good images to help you if needed.

You put the canopy up part way, place the canvas roof on and then adjust the canopy to the height you want with the adjustable legs. When the legs are fully extended the center peak of the canopy is about 12' tall. I like that the height can be set where you want. Sometimes with the way the sun is shining, keeping it shorter helps keep the sun out of your eyes and off your food. The roof is affixed to the legs with Velcro straps that are easy to get in place, and when you are done with the canopy you just reverse the process. You should not store the roof on the canopy. It needs to be folded up on it's own and stored in the bag.

We highly recommend this canopy to you and also suggest you use it with canopy weight bags to help make sure it stays put and secure. Ohuhu makes really nice ones that we have and like a lot! One thing you should know is that the canopy storage bag is very long (about 62") and will not fit in all vehicles. Keep that in mind if you plan on transporting it anywhere.

Nice Mopping System and No Wet Hands!

Getting a good clean floor is a must for me. Nothing yells "Dirty House" more than a nasty kitchen floor and messy bathroom. So the kinds of mops I use are important to me.

When I got the Ohuhu Spin Mop Bucket System, I wasn't sure if I would like it. I had gotten used to my mop with the disposable cloths you use and my steam mop. But I was willing to see how it worked and compared.

The mop comes in a box and needs some assembly, which is super easy! All you have to do is put the handle sections together and attach the piece that the mop cloths hook to. The mop comes with the two-sided bucket, one for the water you dip in to get the mop wet (and cleaner of course) and the other side where it spins the excess water out. It also comes with two mop heads that are easy to attach and easy to toss in the washing machine to clean.

The mop heads feel super, super soft and I found that they work both wet and dry! I love using one for a dust mop on the floor before I mop. It picks up all the little bits that my broom does not, much better than those static cling disposable ones. Then I use the second one for the actual wet mopping. It only takes a small amount of cleanser to work with this mop. The mop itself really does get the floor nice and clean. The fibers even get down underneath the edges of the appliances to get out the bit of debris that can accumulate there. With pets in the house, that can be some icky hairy debris.

For the most part I like this mop and how well it works. My major complaint would be the size of the mop head to the bucket and spin section. No matter how careful I am, I seem to always spill some water when I dunk the mop and then move it to the spin side. There is very little, if any, extra space for that mop head in the spin side. I seem to always dribble some over the side before I spin it.

I do have another small complaint, the placement of the handle. When the one side of the bucket has water in it and the spin side does not, the handle, which is in the middle is not great for balance. The bucket will tip to the heavier end, which is awkward. When you are done mopping, it is not a problem.

All in all, it's a nice mopping system, where you don't have to get your hands wet, use disposable cloths, or bend over as much.

Keeping Our Bathroom Organized Just Got Easier

I really like to be organized, although I don't always accomplish that goal. I still try hard to keep things in their place so when we need it, it can be found. Keeping my makeup organized is especially really important to me. Nothing frustrates me more than having to dig through a drawer or pouch full of things to find one product.

That's why I like this Ohuhu® Makeup Cosmetics Organizer. This is a great way to help me keep things organized and easy to find. I was using a cloth basket before this, which worked, but it started giving out some from years of use.

The acrylic organizer has two great section to fit all kinds of items. The tops section has multiple cubbies to hold things upright. The bottom sections has three drawers to keep other items that don't have to be upright, like eye shadows, etc. Since it is made of clear acrylic you can see in all three of the drawers easily to find just what you need. This really does make finding something super easy and quick. I can see exactly what I want at a quick glance. The drawers hold a lot more than I thought they would and even though it is not filled up in the pictures, it could be.

The top section has great little cubbies to hold a variety of things. There are sixteen to hold lipstick or similar sized items. This is one of the best features for me. There are two that are taller and can hold your brushes and all longer beauty items. This is the one thing about the organizer I wish was a little different. I would like these to be larger to hold a little more. One section is much larger (in the front) and it can hold my moisturizer and serums.

This organizer does not have to be used just for makeup, obviously. It would be great for jewelry or even craft items. I can see it helping to even organize in your office. It would only be limited to your imagination. It's a really nice organizer!

A Unique Automatic Soap Dispenser With Multiple Uses At A Good Price!

When I got this Ohuhu Automatic Soap Dispenser, I was not too sure about it. It seemed so light weight and a little flimsy to me. I had expected it to be metal. But after really looking at it, I realized it's kinda nice.

I really like the nice chrome finish to it and it would look nice in pretty much every bathroom or kitchen, although as it is used next to a sink it tends to get messy quickly with little splatters. I feel like I am always wiping off the dispenser. One thing you should know is it can not be immersed in water. It does concern me a smidge especially since soap dispensers can get pretty gunky after a while and not being able to get the plastic container inside that holds the soap out, there might be a build-up after a while.

It is very easy to put the batteries in (they are not included, which is a small negative for me with any company), and it is easy to turn the dispenser on and off with the small black button on the top. It can sit nicely on the counter or you have the option to hang it on the wall with the included wall mount. I think this is a good option myself, to keep the chrome from getting all the little splatters on it.

It comes with a little plastic key to lock the dispenser on the base securely. I would recommend if you do this to be careful not to break or lose that little key. Once it is locked on the base, you can't get to the battery compartment.

One very nice thing is you can set it to dispense the amount of soap you want, either a small, medium, or large amount. That's a great feature because you can control how much everyone is using and not waste a lot of soap. I also like that it can be used for more than hand soap. You could mount it in the shower and use for shampoo, body wash, or conditioner, or also keep it near the sink with hand sanitizer in it.

Another nice thing is the area on the front of the dispenser that lets you see how much soap is still in it. That makes it easy to pay attention to when it needs to be refilled.

This is a nice soap dispenser, would make a good gift.

Organizing My Laundry Room Just Got Easier

One of my least favorite things is trying to keep things organized in my laundry room. I have very little closet space, so a lot of things end up in that room. Some of the things I keep in there are my broom, mop, duster, etc..., but they don't always get put where they belong. I had one of those racks that part of it swings out to hold the item in place and it is not easy to use.

So when I go the Ohuhu Mop and Broom Holder to try out I was excited!

The holder has 5 rolling balls that automatically adjust to each handle you put next to it. I love that! It holds the thick handle of my broom and the very thin handle of my swivel dust mop. I was surprised at how well it holds everything in place. Once in, they don't slide out or move. It's fast to replace an item when you are done with it. Love that! Much less clutter in the room because people don't feel like messing with the swing hook on the old holder (yes, I'm guilty too). They stay put because of gravity and lift up and out quickly!

It also holds the handle of my long handled dust pan in the rolling balls or it hangs it from one of the 6 hooks on the holder. Love these hooks! They fold up and out of the way when you don't need them, and can hold good sized items easily without getting in the way of the larger items in the rollers!

The holder is super easy to attach to the wall. It comes with screws and anchor mounts to make sure it stays put where you hang it and it takes very little time to hang up.

This is a great mop and broom holder and it will keep my laundry room much more organized all the time!
