You've Gotta Love A Good Set Of Pants Hangers

As a committed organize-aholic, I am always looking for ways to do things easier, faster, and neater. So having good tools around the house to do my job is important. That includes taking care of laundry, which is not a fun thing for any of us.

One of my pet peeves about laundry is the pain it is to hang up pants. With clip hangers not always holding pants very well and taking up a lot of room, or having to fold pants over the bar at the bottom, feeding them through and not messing them up, well I don't like it. I want something with a lot more ease.

The set of 20 Pants Hangers from B&C Home Goods are here to my rescue (and yours). These pants hangers are really, nice. Each hanger is made from a strong metal that will hold up over time. They won't give from the weight of heavy items hung on them. The bar across the bottom is coated with a rubber substance that keeps pants and even silky scarves in place. Things do not budge when hung on these hangers. To say the least I have been impressed.

The best part is that one side of the hangers is open so you can slide pants, skirts, and more on with ease. You don't have to mess with feeding things through the opening of a hanger or with clips that don't hold things well.

The top of the hanger fits over all sizes of rods and with the metal closet organizational systems easily. They even work with the special hangers to hold multiple items to save space in your closet too. The tip is even coated so you don't poke yourself with it. We love these and so far the worst thing about them is who gets to use them, me or my husband!

Keeping Our Bathroom Organized Just Got Easier

I really like to be organized, although I don't always accomplish that goal. I still try hard to keep things in their place so when we need it, it can be found. Keeping my makeup organized is especially really important to me. Nothing frustrates me more than having to dig through a drawer or pouch full of things to find one product.

That's why I like this Ohuhu® Makeup Cosmetics Organizer. This is a great way to help me keep things organized and easy to find. I was using a cloth basket before this, which worked, but it started giving out some from years of use.

The acrylic organizer has two great section to fit all kinds of items. The tops section has multiple cubbies to hold things upright. The bottom sections has three drawers to keep other items that don't have to be upright, like eye shadows, etc. Since it is made of clear acrylic you can see in all three of the drawers easily to find just what you need. This really does make finding something super easy and quick. I can see exactly what I want at a quick glance. The drawers hold a lot more than I thought they would and even though it is not filled up in the pictures, it could be.

The top section has great little cubbies to hold a variety of things. There are sixteen to hold lipstick or similar sized items. This is one of the best features for me. There are two that are taller and can hold your brushes and all longer beauty items. This is the one thing about the organizer I wish was a little different. I would like these to be larger to hold a little more. One section is much larger (in the front) and it can hold my moisturizer and serums.

This organizer does not have to be used just for makeup, obviously. It would be great for jewelry or even craft items. I can see it helping to even organize in your office. It would only be limited to your imagination. It's a really nice organizer!

Organizing My Laundry Room Just Got Easier

One of my least favorite things is trying to keep things organized in my laundry room. I have very little closet space, so a lot of things end up in that room. Some of the things I keep in there are my broom, mop, duster, etc..., but they don't always get put where they belong. I had one of those racks that part of it swings out to hold the item in place and it is not easy to use.

So when I go the Ohuhu Mop and Broom Holder to try out I was excited!

The holder has 5 rolling balls that automatically adjust to each handle you put next to it. I love that! It holds the thick handle of my broom and the very thin handle of my swivel dust mop. I was surprised at how well it holds everything in place. Once in, they don't slide out or move. It's fast to replace an item when you are done with it. Love that! Much less clutter in the room because people don't feel like messing with the swing hook on the old holder (yes, I'm guilty too). They stay put because of gravity and lift up and out quickly!

It also holds the handle of my long handled dust pan in the rolling balls or it hangs it from one of the 6 hooks on the holder. Love these hooks! They fold up and out of the way when you don't need them, and can hold good sized items easily without getting in the way of the larger items in the rollers!

The holder is super easy to attach to the wall. It comes with screws and anchor mounts to make sure it stays put where you hang it and it takes very little time to hang up.

This is a great mop and broom holder and it will keep my laundry room much more organized all the time!

Spring Organization Just Got Some Attractive Help

Summer is almost here and I have yet to finish my Spring Cleaning. UGH! We have had several things happen that have put us behind on many projects. Being behind o spring cleaning is one I am not happy about.

One of the biggest things that is important to me when I spring clean is to organize or re-organize out stuff so things can go smoothly! It's a time saver, makes things a lot neater, and everyone in the family can find things on their own when it is all organized!

One of my biggest pet peeves are drawers. Seems like no matter how hard you try, getting some drawers organized just does not work. The trays to put in the drawers aren't the right size, either to small or too big. But having a drawer, especially in the kitchen that is organized makes getting things done a lot smoother.

Silverware is one of the biggest culprits in my book for getting disorganized. Many organizers don't take into consideration all the extra serving pieces you have or specialist knives you may have. How do you keep those where you need them when you need them when they don't fit in your knife block?

Fulmargp has a really neat Expandable Bamboo Storage Tray that really does make keeping your cutlery easier. The first thing you notice about the tray is that it has 6 compartments and a knife block. This makes it easy to keep almost all of you cutlery in their own slots. There is room for dinner forks, salad forks, soup spoons, teaspoons, table knives and serving spoons. The knife block is great for keeping some of those odd knives you may not keep in your counter top knife block in place. If you don't have a lot of knives, it's perfect for using to keep all of them in place and off the counter.

But the tray, by how it is named obviously, expands and gives you two more long compartments. This is fantastic! you can use it for any number of larger pieces of cutlery or for general cooking items. I think it would be a great place to keep a meat thermometer or reusable straws, even iced tea spoons, anything that has longer handles you may need for serving food. The options are endless.

The tray would also be great for organizing craft supplies. Each of the compartments could hold a number of crafty items. The knife block would be great for holding stainless steel rulers or templates in place and to be found easily. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination!

I think this is a great idea for getting things organized in your home. I do need to tell you though that the tray is not as heavy duty as some I have tried before, although it is sturdy. The first one I had arrived damaged and unusable. Fulmargp was awesome about replacing the damaged tray and got a new one to me very quickly. They offer excellent service!

The second one I got was slightly damaged too but still fine for using. There are small spacers and stops on the bottom that keep the two expandable parts from coming off. Those little pieces came unglued. The tray itself though is still fine and we are using it. It's attractive and looks great in the drawer!

Rainbow Bandz Organization Box Review!

I am a confessing organize-aholic! Seriously, it's almost an OCD issue with me, although my husband would leave off the almost part! LOL!!

When I got the chance to try out the Rainbow Bandz Organization Box I was very happy! I'm sure most of you with children or grand children are familiar with Rainbow Bandz and how much fun they can be. And if you are you know how tough it is to keep all those little stretchy bands organized and neat! Oooh can they make a mess!

The Rainbow Bandz Organization Box is a clear plastic organizer case for rainbow loom and rubber bands with adjustable compartments. It has plenty of room to fit the rainbow loom kit and other connectors.

It is really easy to adjust it. You can make the compartments small or really large. The little dividers have "grips" at the top making it easy to grasp them.

Since we had a large number of bands in several colors we left the spots really large to hold them. Of course we need several more to fit all the colors we have, but it's a start! We are storing the extra dividers in one of the little sections as well as the connectors for the bands. You can see how much a box can hold. We put in 4800 bands in ours! That's a lot!! Even if you don't have this many bands there is plenty of room to put the ones you have and even fit the loom in it!

We like the box really well. The only problem I have with it is the longer divider pieces come out a little too easily.I wish they were permanent to the box like other plastic boxes like this I have used.
