The canvas bag is well made and thick material with a strong zipper. It has a little pouch or slit on the front help shut with Velcro, that has two cards inside. One is a list of everything inside of your kit and the other is a card that you can fill out in case of an Emergency, that allows you to put you personal information and emergency contact. Such as Name, blood type, medical conditions and allergies and giving instruction to those who may be trying to help you. On the back side of the bag there are two straps with Velcro so you can strap this on a backpack or other objects. Inside every thing has a label that is on the bag itself and then each item is individually wrapped in plastic baggies and some of those items like the antiseptic wipes are then wrapped in their original packaging.

Inside the kit you will not have to go from pocket to pocket to see where everything is because it is all labeled! These are not little taped ones either they are printed onto the material. Everything it comes with is perfect for a standard kit!

Convenient First Aid Kit To Carry Along With You

How often do you think about a first aid kit? Probably not that much, but it is something we all need and think about it a lot when we really need it.

GikPal has a small First Aid Kit that would be perfect for many situations in your life. What I really like about this kit is how small it is. The bag is only 7" x 5½" x 2" and is very light weight. It's small, but holds a a good amount and things to get you through small emergencies while you are out camping, hiking, on a road trip, at the beach, and more!

So what is in this small first aid kit:

1 PBT bandage 3" wide
1 PBT bandage 2" wide
1 adhesive tape

That should help for those quick owies we and our families can get on outings and even around the house. I think it would be good to send along with your kids in college, so they have a few basics in their dorm room.

The material the bag is made of is a durable canvas, although it is not waterproof, but is water resistant. I would probably stick it in a ziplock bag to protect it from the elements. There are 3 pockets, three of which are see through so you can find what you need quickly. There is a double zipper on the bag too, so you can unzip it quickly.

There is plenty of room left in the bag to add things you and your family wold use on a regular basis. I plan on putting in a small flashlight, matches, and some pain reliever when we go places. I will probably add a few more sizes of band-aids too.

This is a nice first aid kit and it is compact and ready to go places when you are. It's a good investment to make!

Do You Have A Tourniquet In Your First Aid Kit?

One of the most important things you need in your home is a first aid kit. I'm sure if you thought for a few seconds you would come up with plenty of things that should be included in your first aid kit. But let me ask you this, have you ever added a tourniquet to that list of things?

I'm gonna guess no, but I am also gonna say you should have a tourniquet in your first aid kit if you don't.

Years ago I took some first aid training and learned how to make one, but if you have a pre-made professional tourniquet already on hand you can save a life faster. Air-ale-tools has a Military Issue CAT Tourniquet that you can keep in your first aid kit at home or take with you camping, hiking, or hunting.

This tourniquet is the same kind that is used by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and have included in all their medical supplies. The tourniquet is very easy to use and it has secure attachment to make it easier to save the life of someone you love, or yourself.

The tourniquet is made of a quality strapping kind of material with a long section of heavy Velcro that will hold very securely. It has a heavy duty plastic windlass, the stick that tightens the tourniquet, that is very easy to manipulate. There is also a small section that you can write on the time you applied the tourniquet. Keeping track of the time is important to let a medical professional know when you reach them, so having a place you can write the time is very important. Located on the tourniquet makes it convenient.

This tourniquet is made in a way that you can apply it and manipulate it by your self with even just one hand. I would say that is important since you never know when you would be by yourself and need to use it after and accident or injury.

Thinking about having to use a tourniquet is not fun, but then again thinking about someone losing their life because the bled to death is not fun either. I believe in being prepared and in this day and age of craziness going on in our world, this is one thing I am glad to have in my first aid kit! I recommend you include one as well!

A lot of reviews on Amazon are very negative about this tourniquet. Since I am not a professional in the medical field by any means, I can not say if this is of inferior quality or not. All I can go in is what I saw and tried myself. Please do your own research if in question. It is also important to learn how to use a tourniquet properly. Educate yourself before it becomes a necessity to use one!

A Lot Can Fit Into One Small Bag

How often do you think about a first aid kit? Probably not that much, but it is something we all need and think about it a lot when we really need it.

Protect Life has a small, yet amazingly filled First Aid Kit that would be perfect for pretty much any situation. What I really like about this kit is how small it is. The bag is only 7½" x 5" x 2" and weighs a mere 15.2 ounces. It's small, but holds a lot!

It's small enough to not take up a lot of room in you vehicle, a desk drawer or your backpack. Some of the things in it I had not thought of having in a first aid kit, like a glow stick, but now it makes sense to me seeing it in one.

There are 4 pockets, three of which are see through so you can find what you need quickly. There is a double zipper on the bag and two small handles for carrying. Actually with everything that is in it, you would think there is no more room for anything else, but there is. I plan on putting in a small flashlight, matches, and some pain reliever when we go places. I love that the bag has the extra room for a few more things to personalize it for your specific needs.

This is a very good first aid kit and it has everything you really need in an emergency until you can get to some place for help.It's a good investment to make!
