I Love My Facial Cleanser Now!

I have not always been the best at cleansing my face, but I try. Thing is I think I just never found what I really, really liked.....that is till now thanks to Valentia Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub.

I have to say that for a cleanser this is wonderful stuff. As soon as I opened the jar, I was impressed with the light fragrance in it. It smells wonderful, but it does not linger for a long time, so it does not interfere with any fragrances you might wear.

It looks strange to be honest. It's kind of a gelatinous goo looking stuff, but man, does it do a fantastic job at cleansing your face. There are tiny, tiny micro beads in it that move around on your face, helping to get out the gunk in your pours and exfoliate dead skin. And it takes only a small amount of the cleanser to clean your whole face, so this jar will last for a while. That to me is a good value; a product that works really well and is cost effective.

They say this Exfoliating Scrub does the following:
- Brightens & revives skin (I would agree. My face feels amazing after using this.)
- Improves skin tone & texture (I'm not entirely sure on this one, but my face does look fresh and bright after washing.)
- Removes dead skin cells (Small dry patches are disappearing, yay!)
- Softens the skin (My skin feels so smooth & soft and I don't have to use as much moisturizer afterwards!)
- Prevents future breakouts (Have not had breakouts in a long time, so no idea on this yet.)

I love the natural ingredients in it, each doing a specific thing for your skin. I'm impressed and my skin looks and feels great. That sells me completely!

A Small Simple Tool For Your Dry Skin

Anyone have dry, cracked skin on your feet? Anyone?

Yep, I thought so! A lot of us do from time to time, and it's no fun! now that flip flop and sandal weather is approaching, it's time to think about getting our poor winter feet back into shape o be seen. But it's not fun!

There are all kinds of ways to help your feet out, but one thing I have been using now is a simple every day thing in the shower that makes it easy to keep ahead of dry cracked skin and keep it that way. The Panbua Natural Wood Loofah has been very handy to use.

The whole thing, loofah and handle combined is only a little over 11" long. It's small, but then it does not need to be big to do the job. The loofah part is about 4" long and about 2" wide. it's just the right size to get to your feet and maybe even your elbows easily without having to maneuver a larger brush.

The loofah is rough enough to help exfoliate the skin and to help soften your skin at the same time. Plus it does not hurt to use this like some things can. Some of those roller things and blade things can make a mess of you feet!

I like how I can add lotion to the loofah to help it do even more while it exfoliates and softens. Adding the lotion just helps it along to get the job done sooner.

This little loofah would make a nice gift or addition to a small spa basket you could make up for someone, even yourself, but I have to admit it is a little pricey for me, even though the quality is pretty good.

6 Things You Should Know About A Konjac Sponge

I'm sure you've seen one of the latest trends in skincare. In fact if you have been reading my blog you know I have tried some of these out. Konjac Sponges are one of the newest things out there and they are wonderful!

Here are 6 things you should know about them!

1. Konjac sponges remove your makeup. You can use them alone for a quick clean up without makeup, but when combined with a cleanser, they gently remove your makeup without being rough on your skin. They even work to gently remove mascara.

2. They do not heal acne. I've read some claims that they do, but they don't. They do, however, help clean your skin well enough to reduce the amount of acne you get.

3. Konjac sponges are super gentle! When using them they won't irritate your skin like a scrub can do. They are wonderful for exfoliating and getting to those places where you have dry flakey skin. They are even safe to use if you have any rosacea or if you have sensitivities.

4. They do have a limited use. Konjac sponges can last for quite a while and wear down, but they should not be used indefinitely. They are a sponge, and sponges can build up bacteria over time. So replace them every month or two.

5. Konjac sponges will make you skin more radiant. It's amazing how much they do make your skin radiant. As they exfoliate they encourage circulation to increase, which in turn helps your skin look and feel more healthy. You will notice a big difference in how smooth your skin feels.

6. They are biodegradable! I really love this! When you toss out your old Konjac sponge, don't put it in the trash. Put it in the compost pile. It will break down and continue to be of use to your plants and garden!

Elova Essence has a wonderful Japanese Konjac Sponge infused with green tea and green clay. This a a small konjac sponge that does a wonderful job. I just love the way it cleans my face and keeps it looking fresh and healthy. The inclusion of the green tea helps to balance the ph in your skin.

I have to say that the best thing about the Japanese Konjac Sponge is the exfoliation! I have struggled with small dry, flakey patches on my face for years. Lots of things have helped, temporarily, but nothing has really eliminated the spots. The Konjac sponge has done the best job out of anything I have tried. The more consistently I use it, the less trouble I have. That's a huge incentive to keep using this wonderful sponge!

If you have not tried using a Konjac Sponge I can say you really should. It is something I am fairly sure you will not regret!
