Extra Large Bath Mat Is Just What We Needed

Safety in our bathroom is something I take very seriously these days. I have to, my husband has a lot of trouble with his feet and I need to make sure he is safe getting in and out of our big garden tub.

Dreams-ABM has this Extra long Anti Slip Bath & Shower Mat that we got to try out and I can honestly say it is a really nice bath mat. The first thing is the size. Since it is extra long, it fills out the whole tub and I know that wherever my husband steps, he will have a secure surface to step on. The mat is 39" long. It is also 16" wide, which is great for our tub since the drain is on the side and not directly under the spigot. The mat does not cover our drain like other have in the past.

The top of the mat has large circular bumps that feel like they are massaging your feet as you move around. At first, I thought they might be a bit too much, but after using it for a while, I have been very happy with how they feel. Each bump is a little over 1" in diameter. They feel great as you move around and they also help keep your feet secure as you do.

The back of the mat has good sized suction cups to help hols it in place. Each one is under the bumps on the top and they hold really well. It took a few times to get them all to stay down, but once they were down, they did not budge while we used the shower. This is, I think, the most important part of safety for me. As you step in and out, you feet do not slip or slide on the mat. Very important!

I think this is a great mat and can highly recommend it to you!

Caring For Yourself Or A Loved One When Sick Is A Little Easier With StayDry® Bath Wipes

How many times have you used a baby wipe for yourself? Come on, admit it, they feel nice and they work well to clean with. That's what they are made for.

Well over the past year or so I have found that there were times in caring for my husband while he was ill that I wished I had some for him. I tried these out and have to say that I am impressed with them. Now they are not the same as bathing or showering obviously, but they really did clean well and in conjunction with a washcloth and soap, these would be perfect for helping to care for a loved one or yourself during an illness. I know while my Mother was suffering with Alzheimer's that these would have been perfect to help wash her after eating or after spills.

The cloths feel soft and have a light, but pleasant fragrance to them. One wipe goes a long way too and the light fragrance lasts for a short while. They really are very big and can cover a lot of area. Oh, they are not flushable though, so keep that in mind!

Something like this is not what we all want to think about. But pretty much all of us at one point or another have to care for a loved one who is sick, or ourselves. These Bath Wipes would be perfect to help make the recovery a little more comfortable and the job of the caretaker a little easier. I know I plan on keeping these on hand from now on and at the fantastic price these sell for they are cheaper than baby wipes!

The Last Shower Head You Will Ever Want

I was away this past weekend and one thing I discovered was how much I missed my shower! Seriously, my shower is so much nicer than the one in the resort hotel I stayed in. The reason why mine is so much better.....the shower head!

I absolutely love the HotelSpa 7-setting Brushed Nickel Hand Shower that we have. This thing is so nice! It seriously outranks any shower head that we have had ever! I have never tried a shower head before that can do as much as this one can. It's quite the experience.

The hand shower has 7 full settings that include:
Power Rain
Pulsating Massage
Hydrating Mist
Rain/Massage
Rain/Mist and
Water Saving Economy Rain
Pause on/off modes

I love all the settings and they are so easy to get too. The small handle you use to turn the shower head to the different settings is super easy to move even when your hands are wet. I love that, since some we have tried just have little indentations and are hard to grip.

  

  

  

The seventh setting is the pause button.

My favorite setting is the pulsating massage. It feels so good on my back after a long day or when I get up and just feel like none of my muscles want to cooperate to get the day going. Added to that is the fantastic option of pausing the shower with the water still on. I love this option way more than I thought I would. The button is on the handle and you push it up to pause or down to have the water running. It's a great water saving feature! Oh and the hydrating mist is so relaxing and good for helping to steam clothes.

The brushed nickel is really nice. It does not show fingerprints and seems to keep the water spots from accumulating too much, so it always looks good. Plus it was super easy to install. It comes with everything you need to install it without any tools. Super easy and takes 5 minutes! The 5 foot stainless steel hose that comes with it is really nice too. Since it is stainless steel, I know it will last a long time and it is very flexible so you can maneuver it easily!

This is a fantastic shower head and I think you would love it! I highly recommend it to you!
