A Little Luxury Doesn't Hurt Once In A While

Every now and then, a little luxury in your life is worth the effort and the cost. It can lift your spirit and help you relax and feel special. There's nothing wrong with that, as long as you don't over do it and mess up your budget.

Well one luxury I enjoy are beautiful bath towels. There's something about getting out of the shower and wrapping yourself in soft, luxurious towels. One set of towels I just got are from Salbakos, and they exude luxury.

The towels are some of the softest I have ever tried and remind me of the ones I got to use at a 5 star spa in San Francisco. Each towel is oversized and measures 30" x 60". They are made from 5% Italian Silk and 95% combed Turkish Cotton spun together into yarns making them super soft and highly absorbent. The towels even have a slight sheen to them from the silk.

Another thing I love about these towels is they are made from eco-friendly, pesticide and harmful chemical free materials. All materials used in manufacturing are Oeko-Tex® and ISO 9001 Certified. Basically that means that the materials go through a long, rigorous testing and quality certification to guarantee they are eco-friendly and safe from chemicals that could harm you or the planet.

The best thing I love about these towels is using them. They seriously are the nicest I have ever owned and I do believe they rival the ones from the spa! I love wrapping myself in them. They are the perfect size and weight to absorb all the moisture to dry off and not feel too heavy while doing so. Plus as you wash them, they become softer.

Although these towels may seem expensive, especially compared to buying towels at a superstore or department store, they really are reasonable when it comes to luxury towels. I priced some online and found the average cost for silk and cotton towels is around $200 per towel. Ouch!! These are a much more price-friendly luxury!

A little spoiling now and then does not hurt and a set of two towels is a very nice way to be spoiled!

Seriously The Softest Set Of Sheets I Have Ever Slept In

There is nothing like crawling into bed knowing that your sheets are supper soft and comfy. Add that they have they just washed smell, well it's got to be one of the most relaxing things ever!

We have a set of sheets right now that helps me get that feeling all the time! Mellanni has a set of sheets, Brushed Microfiber 1800 Bedding, that I wish I had lots more of. These have to be the best sheet we have ever owned!

I think we all know that things that are microfiber are super soft, but this is not just your average microfiber. When I first opened the package and felt the sheets I could not believe how soft they were. I immediately wanted to wrap myself up in them. The weave of the fabric is incredible. It is very fine, and the sheets are on the thinner side, but every inch is soft and luxurious. We are going to love them for the summer all by themselves, yet when it was still a little cold, they helped keep us plenty warm. The fitted sheet, the tops sheet and the pillowcases are all the super fine weave of this microfiber that just calls out to you to be comfortable! My husband does not often say much about sheets. To him, sheets are sheets and they are all the same. Not this set! He actually said he likes them and that they are really soft and comfortable. That's amazingly high praise from him!

The fitted sheet has really nice deep pockets. I love that! The sheet completely fits over our extra thick mattress and the corners stay put. Other sheet sets the corners stay put for one or two nights of use. This set, well it stays put until we take them off to wash. I love that, no remaking the bed from the bottom up everyday.

The stitching on the sheets for the hems and on the pillowcases it really well done. The thread they used is as soft as the sheets and the  detail is nice. I like the extra little trim on the pillowcases. It gives a feeling of extra luxury.

But the comfort of the sheets goes beyond the feel, they are fade, stain, shrink, & wrinkle resistant, machine washable on cold and best of all they are hypoallergenic and resistant to dust mites! All around they have made life just a little better and I could not be happier! Oh and there has been absolutely no pilling of the microfiber!

The color choices are fabulous, 17 in all, as well as 2 paisley prints and of course they come in twin, twin XL, full, queen, king and California king, plus you can order pillowcase separately. There is something for everyone! Quality, choice and comfort, not much more a person could ask for!

DermaTherapy Has Made Sleeping A Luxury

One of the joys about getting older are all the changes your body goes through. Almost every day, you start to notice little things that just weren't there yesterday. It's an adventure!

Well maybe it's an adventure, but it's not always a joy! LOL! Not every woman goes through something I wish I could have missed out on, menopause! Let me tell you, it's a shock to your life and really takes some getting used to and adjustment. One of the hardest things has been the night sweats, and it hasn't only affected me. It affects my husband too. I would sit up in the bed, throw the covers off to the foot of the bed, and proclaim in no uncertain terms, "It's too hot!" I have no recall of this, but my poor husband has heard it on numerous occasions!

The sheets are very soft and feel like luxury against your skin. Where I really noticed the difference in the trouble I have with night sweats was with my head on the pillowcase. The coolness lasts all night long and continues even after multiple washings. My husband has even said he likes the sheets and enjoys that they keep him cooler too.

I think my only concern with the sheets are how slick they feel. They are not satin, but feel slick like satin does and can slip around some on the bed. But it is not enough to really cause a problem or decrease the benefits in any way! In fact, it adds to the luxury feeling.

One small caution, you never want to use fabric softener or dryer sheets when you wash these. Doing so may interrupt the wicking properties of the sheets and put you back to square one!

Since using the sheets, I have had a lot more nights of comfortable rest and many fewer night sweats. These are wonderful sheets and come in sizes from Twin to Californina King. They also offer extra sets of pillowcases. I can highly recommend these to you!

Affordable Luxury From Yorkshire-Mayfair

Sleeping in comfort and luxury is wonderful. When that luxury is affordable, it's even better! Yorkshire-Mayfair has affordable luxury for your bedroom and mine!

The 500 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton Luxury Deep Pocket Sheet Set is a fabulous and luxurious feeling sheet set. It comes with the fitted and flat sheets and two pillow cases, each piece as nice as the others.

The fabric is 100% cotton but it has a sateen finish to it that makes it incredibly soft and comfortable. It is so nice to curl up between the sheets. They are lightweight in feel but do keep you plenty warm without adding a lot of bulk to your bedding. In these spring evenings we are having, using just the sheets and a light weight quilt has been plenty warm enough for us.

The sheets wash up beautifully too. From what I have seen they have not lost their shape at all and still fit our bed very nicely. We really like the deep pockets on the fitted sheet. We have an off-size mattress and it has been difficult to find sheets that fit and stay put. The edging on the sheets and pillowcases are very nice and just add to the feeling of comfort and luxury.

We are really enjoying these sheets and are sure you will too. They come in 27 colors. Yes, 27!! There is a color to match any decor. The set we got was a beige color, although it was hard to get it to show in the photos well with the lighting in our room.
