I may have mentioned this once or twice (or more) before, but I really do like to be organized and have things all neat and tidy. I feel better when things are where they belong and there isn't a lot of clutter. Do I always achieve that.....NO! I wish I could say yes, but life happens and sometimes it can cause a mess, and stacks of paper, and crafts supplies that need to be put away, and laundry not folded, dishes to be washed, and.......

I think you get my point. My guys try to help, but I will admit, I can be a bit of an OCD person. Okay, yes, I am a bit of a control freak, but I am working on it.

Being a bit of a control freak, I love products that make life easier and neater. Storage containers of all sizes really make me smile. I love going down the isles in stores where all those nice plastic storage bins reside. They make me happy, like the small organizer I got just a few days ago.

The Lasten Plastic Jewelry Organizer is a really nice little container that is helping me with storing craft items.

The container is small, which makes it easy to move around and take with you wherever you may want to craft. It comes with small, removable dividers. You can have up to 36 spots to keep things in. I love how you can rearrange things to fit just what you need it to hold. It's clear plastic, making it really easy to see what is inside. The little inserts that make each little compartment come out and go back in with ease, so it can be used for all kinds of things, crafts, makeup, toys, collections, and more!

The lid closes tightly and has two locking snaps to hold it shut. When I first opened it, it was a little difficult. After using it for a while now, it is easier, yet still holds the lid securely. This is a great little container to help me coral my washi tape. I tried several other things in it, but love how it holds all my rolls of tape and I can see them easily.

I am one small step closer to be as organized as I would like to be. My husband says it is unrealistic for me to think I will ever be "As Organized" as I would like to be. A girl can dream though!

Helping Hands And Magnification For All Kinds Of Specialty Crafting

Some crafting projects and home repairs can take several hands more than you have. And when you need those extra hands they often are not home to help you.

That's where something like the Kitclan LED Light Desktop Magnifier comes in handy. This is a small tool that can help you hold things while you work on them.

The large magnifying lens that is 3X, which is sufficient for most purposes, makes it easy to see what you are doing up close. The neat thing is you can work on things without the magnifier too. It swivels up and out of the way for use with just the extra "hands" part. There are two adjustable points on the neck of the Magnifier so you can adjust the magnifier as needed. The lens can also be rotated 360 degrees.

I really like that there is a small LED light bulb to really help you see what you are working on. The light works by plugging it in with the included USB cord. I found the cord to be way too short, so I have replaced it with one I already had here at home that is 5 times longer. Now I can use the magnifier pretty much anywhere I want to without having to worry about a tightly stretched cord. You can use 3 AAA batteries instead of the USB cord, but the light is not as bright then.

The alligator clips that come with the magnifier, hold things tightly so you don't have to worry about things slipping while you are working. They swivel around 360 degrees and move side to side to reach towards or away from each other depending on the size of the item you are working on.

This magnifier is great for small detail work while making jewelry, working on electronics, making fishing lures, and more. There is also a small tray at the bottom to hold bits for you while you work.

Now I will tell you that most of this unit is plastic, so you need to be careful while using it, especially with anything hot that might melt the plastic or from dropping it. For example, the coil to hold your soldering iron. The end of it touches the plastic so you need to adjust it some before letting a hot soldering iron be put in it. If it was made from better material I would be very excited about it, but since it is just plastic, not so much! It is still a fairly good product.

A Very Special Gift For A Very Special Young Lady In Your Life

When I was a little girl, one of the things my Mom allowed me to do was look through her jewelry box. I loved looking at her necklaces and trying them on to see how pretty they looked on me. The day I finally got my own jewelry box was very special to me, and of course my Mom made sure I had not only my own necklace for my jewelry box, but a matching bracelet too.

The necklace has an 18" cable chain with a 2" extension and has a lobster claw clasp. The two seahorses with the pink and white crystals (30 of them in total) form a heart with their tails entwined at the bottom. The heart is approximately 3/4" wide and tall, so it is delicate and works well on a smaller neck. One thing that is really nice to know is that the necklace is nickel and lead free, so it is safe for children to wear (as well as adults).

I love the box the necklace comes in. It is a pink velour box shaped like a clam seashell. The box is perfect for storing the necklace in or after taking the necklace out, storing all kinds of tiny trinkets in. The bottom of the inside of the box is fully lined making it a very special keepsake.

I know if I had received a necklace like this as a young girl, I would have loved it. It would have found a very special place in my dresser drawer of my small jewelry box. I'm pretty sure I would have worn it often. My guess is any young lady you may give it to would do the same thing! This is one special item for any special lady in your life and I can recommend it to you highly!

The Art of Jewelry ~ Beautiful Designs For You and Me

I don't think there is a woman in the world who does not like jewelry, even if she only likes it just a little bit. There really is something very special about having one or two (or more) special pieces to wear and that mean something to you.

But one of the hardest parts of finding beautiful jewelry is, well finding it. Oh there are pieces in all kinds of stores and shops, but finding what is just what you want in a specific style and with the stones and settings you want, that's harder.

Anjolee is a site that goes above an beyond helping you find that just right piece for any special occasion, or for just because! it's a site that I can highly recommend to you as well. Their bridal sets are amazing!

When Anjolee contacted me to review their website and their jewelry I was thrilled to do so and for several reasons, the obvious was I would get a beautiful piece of jewelry! But the chance to experience what they offer on their site was wonderful.

Each and every piece of jewelry they have can be custom made to your specifications and desires. You can choose the metal used, silver, white gold, yellow gold, or platinum. Each stone can be chosen for the carat, clarity and the color of diamond and if you would prefer another kind of stone that option is available as well. They offer Amethyst, Citrine, Garnet, Peridot, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, or Topaz. I love that you can even have a combination of stones placed in the setting you choose. You are also able to specify not only the size of rings (which they help you figure) but also the length of necklace or bracelet, making sure it will fit that special person you are buying it for.

I enjoyed searching their site to see all the beautiful pieces and styles. They offer traditional settings and more modern ones as well, including red carpet designs. You can look at the design you like in white gold (which would be the same as silver and platinum) and in yellow gold, so you have a clear idea of what the final piece will look like. They have a very neat viewing option where you can see the jewelry in 360°. It gives you a wonderful perspective of the whole piece.

When I placed my order I chose to have Garnet stones in my ring. Garnet was something that was very special to my Grandmother and I wanted to have a ring that reminded me of her every time I looked at it. Picking out what I wanted and then choosing the size was easy. Anjolee contacted me to make sure the order was exactly what I wanted and then followed up with me by sending me a note when it was shipped and the tracking number. They also confirmed with me that the ring was received and wanted to make sure I was happy with it. it was fantastic service from start to finish!

The ring came double packed (in a padded envelope inside a box) for safety and in a lovely white gift box that I could use to give the jewelry as a special gift to someone (which I may still do). Inside that white box was even more protection of tissue and thin foam to keep the beautiful wooden box protected. It was a lovely experience opening the whole package and then to see my ring revealed sitting in a white leatherette interior. It was wonderful.

The quality of the ring was evident from the first and I have really enjoyed wearing it and receiving compliments on it.
