Keeping Your Hands Safe In The Kitchen From Extreme Heat and Cold

Silicone! It's all the rage and being used for so many products it's almost hard to keep up with it. But one of the products I love that they have been using it in is pot holders.

I got the idea of silicone oven mitts, it makes sense to protect your hands like that, but they are bulky and hard to manipulate your hands in. Yet they work so well at keeping your hands safe from the heat of hot pans and food. So when I got this pair of silicone pot holders I was excited to see how they worked compared to the mitts.

Just toss them into the dishwater and hang to dry after rinsing.

They are very light weight too. They have a unique honeycomb design that lightens them but still keeps them versatile. The honeycomb design also helps making them more flexible than a solid piece of silicone would be, which means you can use them with a lot more ease!

They are multifinctional because you can use them for more than just pot holders. They work great as a trivet, a jar opener and for grabbing anything that is very hot or very cold! I like putting them under a dish in the microwave. When they dish is heated you have the pot holder right there to get it out with greater ease and without burning your hand! My husband likes them too since he can use them without having to stick his hands down in a mitt. He has never liked using a mitt, especially the silicone ones, and these make it easy for him to grab hold of big pots when he helps me in the kitchen!
