Yep, You Do Need More Than One Kind Of Facial Mask

Recently I was able to try out another really nice Valentia product, and again, I am impressed.

I'm not sure how you feel about this, but for years I thought you only needed one kind of facial mask. You need one that is going to help get of all the extra junk your cleanser can't and that will tighten up pores and rejuvenate your skin. Boy was I wrong!

Your skin can use several kinds of masks and you should use them for specific needs, depending on how you skin is doing. I learned so much by trying out several kinds of masks close together.

The most recent mask I tried was Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask and my face is so much the better for it! It has made a big improvement in how my skin feels overall. Not only does it feel clean and refreshed, it feels youthful and soft and truly hydrated!

Here are some things you should know about the mask:
- Boosts collagen production
- Increases skin radiance
- Reduces fine lines
- Locks in skins moisture
- Reveals softer smoother skin

Even my husband has said something about how my skin has been looking brighter and healthier. For him to notice, well that's a BIG deal!

The product has some fantastic ingredients in it too. Each one is intended to do a specific thing to help your skin feel amazing, like mine!
- Silk Protein Amino Acid Blend: These natural miracles increase moisture content and help in the production of collagen and elastin which decreases the appearance of visible lines.
 - Botanical Hyaluronic Acid: Penetrates deep into the skin to secure moisture and plump skin from within.
- Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil: An anti-aging wonder berry that results in fewer fine lines, diminished sun spots, more even skin tone, and firmer more supple skin.
- Japanese Green Tea:Contains catechins that provide anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and anti-irritant effects to the skin. - Aloe Vera: This botanical moisturizers skin and fight aging by improving skin firmness.

The mask is a lovely shade of orange and smells so good! I've used some icky smelling masks, and this is so refreshing! You use a nice amount all over your face, avoiding your eyes of course, and leave it on for at least 15 minutes and up to 30 minutes. I noticed a very slight tingling sensation, but it did not hurt by any means! It just made me feel like it was working! Use warm water and a soft cloth to remove it and follow with moisturizer. Believe me, you'll be glad you did! This has to be one of the best masks I have tried.

But like I said, I learned that you should use several kinds. Once in a while you need to detox your skin. Once in a while you need a hydration mask. Once in a while you need an exfoliating mask. I have no problem using all different kinds since I know that with Valentia, my face will feel amazing when I do!

A Mask I Can Get Behind

Skincare is something I have to admit, I have never been very faithful about doing until the last 5-6 years. I was a "washcloth and moisturizer" girl for a long time. But I have tired a lot of skincare products over the years and since I have started being more meticulous about my skin, masks are something I just love!

Valentia has a nice Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask that I have been trying out. I found that this is not like other clay masks I have used. It is much kinder and less harsh to my skin and it smells really nice.

You apply the mask to you face generously, avoiding the eye area. You should leave it on for about 15- 20 minutes, or until it dries. Obviously, the more you use, the longer it takes to dry. You'll feel it working. There is a very slight tingling sensation on your face, but it feels good, not painful at all.

This Antioxidant Rich Clay Mask Will:
- Draw out skin impurites
- Improve skin tone
- Reduce pore size
- Firm & strengthen the skin
- Leave skin feeling smoother

The clay has small micro beads in it that move around on your face as you apply the mask. Those micro beads, that are actually made of fibers that break down, help remove the dead skin from you face as you remove the mask. I was impressed with how nice it felt doing that. When it all comes off using a wash cloth and warm water, your skin feels baby soft and super smooth. After several uses, you will see the size of your pores reduce, which helps the overall health of your skin. Plus it does not strip the moisture from your skin, although I do always follow with a moisturizer.

I love all the ingredients in this product and each one has a specific purpose. Specially selected ingredients work together to achieve optimum results for your skin.
- Kaolin Clay: Clay minerals draw impurities, improve skin tone, and tighten pores for smoother firmer skin.
- Plant Stem Cells: Naturally decreases the level of pro-aging toxins and works to soother the skin, reduce redness, and improve evenness.
- Spirulina: A botanical stimulant full of vitamins that hydrates the skin's surface and contributes to tissue regeneration of the skin.
- CoQ10: Lessens the appearance of wrinkles by reducing free radical damage and stimulating health collagen production.
- Hibiscus & Cranberry Fibers: Both lend their anti-aging properties to firm and reinforce the skin, helping to reduce the creation of new wrinkles.

This is a skin care product I can get behind and use on a regular basis. I love how masks help my skin feel so much more youthful, and at 56, that's a very good thing. This is one mask I think you will like for sure!

Coat Your Face With This Mud And You Will Feel Wonderful

There is something about having a clean, fresh, and rejuvenated feeling to your face. It just makes things feel a little better during the day. One the best ways I have discovered to get my face feeling wonderful is to use a mask, and nothing beats a Dead Sea Mud mask!

Foxbrim’s Dead Sea Mud Mask is perfect for taking care of your skin and mine! It includes only two ingredients, the ancient healing minerals of the Dead Sea mud and Grapefruit Seed Extract (to preserve freshness). That's it. There's no other additives, no chemicals, just mud!

For centuries, people have flocked to the Dead Sea to enjoy the amazing skin purifying properties from the silt and mud of the water. Unmatched in it’s composition, Dead Sea Mud is rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron, all of which are essential to maintaining healthy, supple skin. The mud has also been shown to kill acne-causing bacteria and effectively treat and heal psoriasis.

It is a wonderful product and feels amazing on your face. You just scoop out some of the mud, cover your face avoiding the eye area, and let it dry. It doesn't take too long to dry, maybe 10 minutes. Then using a lukewarm wet cloth and circular motions, wipe the mud off your face. I always follow with a moisturizer after my face is completely dry and it feels wonderful! While it is on your face you can feel it working, and it is a good feeling. You should not use it more than once a week though, so pick a day and make that your facial mask day each week. It's something to really look forward to!

A perfect in-home treatment, Foxbrim’s Dead Sea Mud Mask brings you the sacred mud of the Mediterranean to enjoy youthful, radiant and silky skin. I love this product and think you will too!

Have You Ever Tried Some Seaweed On Your Face?

I love using facial masks and have been learning to enjoy wraps too. But I certainly can not afford to go to the spa. It's just not in the budget no matter how or where we juggle things. So I am finding great ways to enjoy facials and wraps at home.

Azara Organics sent me a jar of Organic Seaweed Powder to try out as a facial and body wrap. It's been an interesting experience!

Before I tell you what I have personally experienced, here is some specific info from the company:
REDISCOVER WHAT SILKY SMOOTH AND SOFT SKIN FEELS LIKE. Our Organic Seaweed Powder is Perfect for a Revitalizing, Age-Defying Facial Mask or Cellulite Reducing Body Wrap.
DID YOU KNOW? A Seaweed Wrap or Facial Mask has been a Popular Treatment Available at Deluxe European Spas. Now You Can Enjoy 20+ Treatments from Just One Jar in the Comfort of Your Home!
DON'T COMPROMISE YOUR HEALTH OR SKIN WITH PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN CHEMICALS. Our Organic Seaweed Powder is Wild Harvested Straight From the Coldest Parts of the North Atlantic and then Micronized into a Fine Powder for Maximum Absorption and Assimilation.
SENSITIVE SKIN, RASHES, DRYNESS OR ACNE, THIS WILL HELP YOU. Our Seaweed Powder is Packed with Vitamins, Minerals, Trace elements, and Amino Acids that are Essential in Maintaining Healthy and Youthful Skin.

The first thing I want to tell you is that the powder has a very strong seaweed smell (obviously) so you need to be aware that it smells very much like you are near the ocean. It's quite strong! As someone who can not eat seafood, it was a little tough for me to deal with. I do recommend you mix it well since the powder can clump a little and you do want it to be as smooth as possible for easier spreading on your skin.

The second thing is that it is very easy to mix. You simply mix warm water with the powder and add a few drops of essential oil (this helps lighten the seaweed smell a lot). Once the essential oil is added it makes such a wonderful difference I find it much easier to use. It looks and feels a little goopy, but it is worth it!

Applying to my face is simple and feels great with the warmth of the mixture. I just love the way it makes my whole face relax and feel rejuvenated! You only need to leave it on for 10-15 minutes, so it does not completely dry up. Removing it is a simple process, just use warm water and a wet cloth. I like doing it in the shower. That's the same, of course for doing a body wrap.

So far I have done my arms and it has been lovely. I simply used the mixture of seaweed powder, warm water and essential oil on my skin and then wrapped with damp towels. It was very soothing and relaxing. I'm looking forward to convincing my husband to help me with a body wrap for my back. I know it will feel wonderful!

Using the Azara Organics Seaweed Powder reminds me of the time I got to spend at a 5 star spa in San Francisco! It's relaxing and when I am done I feel wonderful and refreshed! I think this is something many would sincerely enjoy!
