An Enjoyable Way For Kids (and some adults) To Learn A Foreign Language

As a child, one of the classes we had to take in elementary school was Spanish and to graduate from high school we had to have at least two years of a foreign language in high school. To say the least, I was not super good at most languages, but we had to learn in an old fashioned way and things just did not stick.

In these times, knowing a second language, especially Spanish, is important. We live in a global community and we need to be able to communicate easily. Learning from childhood how to speak a second and even third language is the easiest way. And learning through a fun, interactive online site is one of the best ways!

Foreign Languages For Kids By Kids has some of the most enjoyable ways to learn for young kids I have seen. For several weeks now I have been listening to, watching, and interacting with Spanish lessons and I have to say right from the beginning I have been able to learn and maintain a lot more than at any other point in my life.

The lessons are broken down in to easy steps by immersing every day things that we all see and know and making them part of your every day conversations. The videos use common words and phrases and show how those words and phrases are used in many situations by showing the word in Spanish on the screen, clearly enunciating the words and showing them in action in multiple situations. It flows easily and moves along at a good pace to keep you interested, yet learning at the same time. Repetition helps, but the neat thing is you can go back over each lesson as needed to really help you grasp what is being taught.

We found the lessons to be a lot of fun and things stuck a lot better than I thought they would. Much of what I had learned as a kid started coming back to me, but I was able to really put sentences together and communicate a lot better. I also was able to really start getting proper pronunciation as I heard the words spoken by multiple kids as opposed to just one teacher. That helped a lot.

Another thing that helps is the lessons are not long, about 5 minutes or so. That keeps everyone interested and not getting overwhelmed by too much information at once. The lesson increase in difficulty, but progress in a way that each one builds on the last. You hear words from previous lessons being used in the more advanced ones. As you learn the new words and phrases you are also repeating ones you have already learned and adding to them. It's a great way to have things reinforced.

The site is really easy to navigate and understand. I would suggest that you work with your kids as they learn and make it a family adventure! We had a good time listening to the lessons and learning together. This is a fabulous way to learn and it stick with you!

Check out Foreign Languages For Kids By Kids! I highly recommend it to you and am sure you will enjoy it as much as we did!

I received a free trial of the program in exchange for my honest review, I was not required to write a positive review and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
