Two Fantastic French Presses From Cozyna

There is something special about coffee made in a French Press. It just tastes better than brewed coffee and it is my favorite way to enjoy a good cup of coffee!

Two beautiful French Presses have been made by Cozyna that I want to share with you.

One is the Cozyna Dove Stainless Steel French Press. This is a beautiful pot! It is made of double-walled high grade stainless steel with a lovely polished finish. It is an 8 cup, 34 oz French Press that will serve 3-4 people easily.

This is a French Press that would look elegant on any table. Since it is made of a double-walled construction, it holds the heat of the coffee in it much longer than glass ones do. The nice thing is that the outside of the press does not get hot except right near the top edge. It does get a little warm there. The handle stays nice and cool though.

The plunger fits nice and snugly in the pot making sure that the grounds are pushed to the bottom completely. The 3-part stainless steel mesh filter helps extract the coffee's aromatic oils and flavors while keeping the grounds out of your drink.

The lid at the top of the plunger is also made of stainless steel. It is made in a way that if you turn it one way you can pour from the pot. If it is turned another you cover the pour spout and help keep the coffee hot that is inside. I really like this feature a lot since I am the only coffee drinker in my house. When I make a pot, I know it will stay warm for quite a while and I can enjoy it slowly!

The second French Press offered by Cozyna is the Cozyna Ede Stainless Steel & Glass French Press. This is what most of us know as the traditional French Press.

This is a lovely glass French Press and it looks wonderful sitting on the table after a meal and enjoying dessert. It too is an 8-cup, 34 oz French Press that will serve 3-4 people.

The carafe or beaker is made from a durable, high quality, heat-resistant borosilicate glass. That basically means that it will hold up well to repeated use and will not break as easily as some beakers can!  I like the thickness of the glass. Some I have tried have very thin glass and seem so fragile. This one does not. I think it also helps keep the heat of the coffee in better too. The frame around the beaker is made of a very durable stainless steel with a cool touch handle.

The plunger fits snugly inside and has the same kind of 3-part stainless steel mesh filter as the other one does. It too will make amazing flavored coffee while keeping the grounds out of your drink.

I like the top of the plunger as well on this one. It has a pour spout that helps keep the coffee from pouring too fast. When you turn it around the other way it covers the pour spout, helping to keep the coffee warm longer.

It's hard for me to choose which one I like the best. Either works wonderfully and makes a great cup of coffee. Both can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Both look lovely sitting on the table for just you and the family or when you have guests over. I think the only real difference is that the solid stainless steel one keeps the coffee hot longer than the glass one and you can see how much coffee there is in the pot with the glass one. I plan on keeping both to use in my home!
