One of my favorite things I love to do is read to little ones. It always so fun to watch their reactions to the story and the pictures. We started reading to our boys, well pretty much right after they were born. It has been something very important to my husband and me. Reading is a must in our lives and both our boys love to read too.

But for me, it was something more. That special time, cuddled with your little one and sharing a special story. It's a wonderful bonding time and the closeness to each other is a very calming and relaxing thing.

My husband liked to make books very entertaining. He would make voices for the characters in them. His favorite to read to them included a fairly good imitation of Richard M. Nixon.

But just reading any old book is not enough. I think it is vital to make sure you are reading books to your little ones, your not so little ones, and encouraging your older kids to read on their own, books that are going to help them draw closer to God.

I chose these four books above to review. I love getting new books if it means something to me or food recipes and drinks/smoothies. I also got into the coloring faze cause I've seen a lot of that coloring books for adults, and it really relaxes me especially if I feel stressed or just want some me time, so with that being said I got the following books:

Out of my What's Your Potion? Book I snapped some photos in the book that looked really delicious to me and I cannot wait to try them. With moving and all it has been hectic, but we are settled in and I can't wait to browse more of the book and get to experience some of the recipes. I'm excited!

Didn't get a chance to read this to Jax yet. I babysit my friends baby so I got this for him so I could read to him. I see him Friday, so I'll be sure to take pictures of us reading it.

My husband couldn't be more happier that I got him a Big Smoker Book because he does own a Smoker that me and his mom (my mother in law) got him it for Christmas last year, and he loves smoking different meats, so this should help him create more different meats and help him with recipes and smoking and now that it's October I hope he can mange to use it one more time before the Winter time comes.

Combining My Love For Tea and My Love For Books ~ Collect Teables!

Tea has always been a big part of my life. I have some really fond memories spending time with dear friends over a cup of tea. I also have very fond memories of time spent reading wonderful books and getting lost in the pages while drinking a good cup of tea.

That's why I love this new tea from The TeaBook. They are a part of their Collect Teables line. (Little aside here, I love the play on words they do!)

The two teas I tried out are themed after two of my favorite authors, William Shakespeare and Agitha Christie. They are ShakeSpearmint, which is a lovely spearmint tea, and Agatha ChrisTea, which is a smart Earl Grey tea. The line they are creating is such a fun idea. They are incorporating their wonderful teas with the names of well known authors that many of us had read over and over while drinking a cup of tea. it's such a fun idea and I applaud them for it!

The artwork on the front of the tea bag wrappers is very entertaining and well done. They make me smile. Each one has small tidbit of things you would remember from reading their work and it makes me smile. But as good as the art work is, the tea is even better. The TeaBook tea is 100% organic and Kosher. It also tastes fabulous! The spearmint has a bright flavor that smells amazing! It is relaxing and so enjoyable. The Earl Grey is a really good black tea with just a hint of oil of bergamot. That small extra in the tea just makes this a cup of tea you won't forget. It is so refreshing and stimulating. I can highly recommend both teas to you, and if this is their kickstarter introduction, I can hardly wait for what is coming next.
