As a crafter, I am always looking for things that help me work more efficiently and that help me do the best I can creating things. Also, as the wife of someone who has limited vision, I am always looking for things that will help my husband see better and more clearly. So when I got the LED Magnifying Lamp by OKOA, I was excited. It is something both of us will use!

The lamp is 21" tall, including the lamp head, and has a flexible gooseneck. It can bend in any direction up or down, side to side, to get the lamp head in just the right position for what you need to see.

I love the clamp base. The light can sit on any flat surface just fine by itself in the weighted base, but you can take it out of the base to have it clamped to the edge of almost any surface. The clamp holds the lamp securely where you put it. My desk has a 1" thick top and the clamp worked really well on it.

Another cool thing about the base of the lamp is a slot to hold your cell phone. You can put your phone on the base and see directions online to do something while actually following along. Very handy!

I was impressed with how well the magnification works. It really does make it easy to see things clearly, and with the lens being as big as it is, you don't have to move what you are working on around to be in just the right place as much.

The lamp comes with a USB cable that you can plug right into your computer or into an adapter to charge in an outlet. The cable is nice and long, so you can adjust it a lot better than some cables that come with electronics. I haven't figured out how long the light stays charged yet, but so far, quite a while!

The light has three levels of brightness, so you can adjust to it your need and your light sensitivity. It's also a pure white light, which helps keep down eye strain. When you are working on a project close up like that. Eye strain can be a serious problem. Having a pure white light makes a big difference. To adjust the light it just takes a small tap on the "switch".

I am super pleased to have this lamp and I know both my husband and I will be using it a lot. We highly recommend it to you!

Fun and Easy To Install LED Lighting For Your Home

It's amazing how after so many years of building homes there are still places that never seem to have enough light. Every home I have ever lived in has had places where there were dark spots no matter how well placed lamps, wall sconces, and ceiling lights are. And sometimes, you just want a little extra light for effect and decoration.

That's where light strips, like the Goeswell LED Strip Light, really come in handy. They arrive to you in a sealed, waterproof bag, which I think is great. They won't get damaged in delivery and you can keep what you don't use stored in the bag.

This LED Light Strip is a very low voltage (12 volt) but super bright, much brighter than other LED rope lights. The light strip is flexible and waterproof, which makes it easy to use it in a variety of places in your home.

It uses a very flexible PCB board as the base and adopts SMD Chip LED lights as its luminous body. Its small size and voltage is a good choice for architectural lighting, sign letter light, concealed lighting, like under cupboards in the kitchen, perimeter lighting, and many other decorative uses. The lights last up to 50,000 hours, giving you a good value for your money.

The reel the strip lights come on has 16.4 feet of light that is about ¼" wide.

The light strip has a 3M adhesive sticky strip on the back to be easily mount onto most flat surfaces. it does not adhere to brick, but then not a lot of adhesive strips do. It is super easy to adhere and you can slowly pull off the sticky tape protective cover as you line up the light strip.

I love that the strip can be cut to length quickly (cutting lines are clearly marked), and you can adapt this to pretty much any place you need horizontally or vertically. You can cut the strip every 3 LED lights, so it is easy to figure out how much you will need since there are 600 on the entire strip, and every 3 LED lights is 1".

Installing does require a little electrical knowledge, and unfortunately specific instructions are not included. But a basic handy man can install them pretty easily. The light strip is on a small reel, which makes keeping them untangled and keeping what you don't use on something you can store easily very simple.

These are going to go under our cupboards in the kitchen to help light up an area that is always so dark and difficult to work around with our limited counter space. I'm sure there are several places in your home you could find a use for these!

LED Solar Lights For Use Outside ~ Love Them!

I love the look of lights around our house and other people's houses. They just add to the look of the home, especially when you are having a party or decorating for a holiday. Lights can really make a difference.

Solar lights are the kind I love to use more than others, for many reasons. LTE Lighting Even has a 100 LED Solar Rope Lights set that is 33ft long and safe to use outdoors. They are waterproof too, so it makes it easy to put them pretty much anywhere. As long as there is enough sunlight during the day to charge the battery. You can use the included battery (1200mAH AA size) or replace it with a rechargeable AA battery. It is easy to change the battery with a phillips screwdriver, and worth it to get a longer time with the lights on.

When fully charged the 100 LED lights inside the silicone tubing, will last about 15 hours. That's usually plenty long enough for lighting up an event outside or for decorating your home for the holidays. I love how each light on it's own is nice and bright, but the tubing diffuses the light some and spreads it a little through the tubing. One neat thing you can do is extend the solar panel out a window and use the lights inside. Our son has done that with other sets and this one would work great for that. Don't expect to be able to read using these lights, but they do offer a lovely ambiance!

There is an on off switch on the solar panel back. There is also two modes for the lights, on steady or flashing. You can turn the lights on and leave the switch on if you want to and not have to worry about doing it every day. The sensor in the solar panel will turn the lights on at dusk and they will go off at dawn. Makes it really easy and a whole lot better than plugging in a lot of cords!

The set includes a small spike to put in the ground and a second attachment that goes on it that holds the solar panel. You can place that spike exactly where you need to to get the best light for the panel and the top part moves to angel the panel towards the sun

. From the end of the tubing to the solar panel there is about 5 feet of wire, which gives you some room putting the lights up on something like a tree.

I like the lights and they are super easy to use. Also they sell at a good price too!

Atmosphere For TV Watching And Helps Your Eyes At The Same Time

There are lots of places in our homes where extra lighting is useful, but one place a lot of people don't think about is behind their TV. I know, it sounds strange, but you would be surprised at the difference it can make to your TV watching when you have simple lighting behind it.

Glare is reduced a lot and if you watch TV in the dark, having a small bit of lighting behind the TV helps with the mood, and especially eye strain. You'd be surprised at how much strain watching the TV puts on your eyes in general, but even more so when you watch it in the dark.

InnoGear Solar Lights Are Nice and Bright In Our Yard

I don't know about you, but I love solar lights! They save us so much money and once they are in place, there is nothing else you need to do. They do it all for you!

InnoGear has the 20 LED Solar Motion Sensor Outdoor Light set that is perfect for so many places around the outside of your home. These lights are really nice to have. The solar panel is very large and can collect light even on cloudy days. It took about 10 hours to charge the lights to start with, but once they were charged, they have been running nicely all the time!

The 20 LED lights per unit have three modes, off, on at a dim level until motion is detected, and off until motion is detected. We have ours on the dim until motion is detected. It's really handy for us when we take our Newfoundland out for a walk at night. He is solid black except one small patch on his chest, so seeing him at night is tough! Having these lights spaced out on or deck helps us keep track of where he is running around at night.

The lights come with everything you need to set them up. I appreciate that the screws to mount them with were included. We didn't have to search around for just the right sized ones to hang the lights up. The directions for operating the lights are simple and really easy to understand. Love that!!

The lights are also safe to be out in any kind of weather. It makes it nice not to have to worry about them at all. Just hang them up and let them do their job. Also I think you would be surprised at how much light they give off in a dark yard. It is plenty to keep things safe and to help you see at night. Plus they come on bright when something comes within about 16 feet. That's a larger distance than another solar light we have outside. I like the longer distance reach, making it quicker for the light to come on when needed.

Lgiht Up Your Life With The Help Of Kohree Fairy Lights

One thing that can really set the mood of a party is the lighting, and not just the overhead kind or lamps. Sometimes the best way to set the mood is with small strands of lights!

Kohree has some fabulous lights that help you do just that and look amazing! They offer them in a variety of lengths and they work for so many different things.

One length I tired out is the 10 foot length that has 33 small (rice) lights on copper wire.The lights are super, super tiny, but they are very bright. Since the lights are LED, they have a wonderful brightness to them that use very little power. The set of lights works on 3 AA batteries. We have been using them for a month now, and we have yet to have to change the batteries.

They also have another length of lights that we tired out that is 33 feet long with 100 lights on copper wire. This set also works on 3 AAA batteries. The lights are also tiny and LED.

Both sets of lights have 3 modes, off, on full until you turn them off, and a mode where they are on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. I really like that last mode a lot. I can turn them on for the evening and not worry about having to rmemebr to run them off to save battery power. The lights do it for me! To tell the difference in which mode you are using, look at the battery pack and next to the button to turn on the lights are three symbols with the number 1-3. #1 has a little clock by it. That lets you know it is the 6 on, 18 off.

The copper wire of the lights help you use them in so many ways. They can be molded and shaped around things and in things. The wire is very sturdy and makes it easy to work with. I love the versatility of these!

A Small Lantern With A Super Bright Light

Do you remember days when you were a kid and you snuck a flashlight into bed with you so you could read or play with toys under your blankets? I do and I know I would have had a blast if I had a little light like this one!

The Galactic Lighting LED Lantern is a pretty nifty little lantern! It's a very small lantern, about 6" x 3" and very light weight. It's made almost entirely of plastic, which is how the weight is kept down. When I first opened the box, I thought it was a toy light, which is why it made me think of reading under the blankets late at night.

The lantern does not come with the three AA batteries needed to operate it. This is a small negative for me and is with any product that requires batteries and does not come with them. But the lantern has a low power consumption so the batteries should last quite a while. They are easy to put in and take out. The entire bottom of the lantern screws off to reach the battery compartment. I like this a lot since there are no little plastic tabs that could break off

The middle section of the light is clear plastic and the inside of it has an opaque plastic to cover the LED lights. I like that because the light is not as harsh and it helps to diffuse the LED's a lot. It is super, super bright when turned on all the way. In fact, I was quite surprised at how bright it was. The neat thing is with the knob switch, you can turn the light down to be very dim or back up all the way to be super bright. That's not an option you get on a lot of lights.

This is a nice lantern and I think it would be great for kids to have as well as adults. It would be nice to have for power outages around the house. I will admit, it does seem more like a toy than not. They recommend it for camping and since it is so light weight and small you could carry two, but honestly, I think it could break being packed in with all your other camping gear.
