2. It Is A Perfume
For centuries orange blossom water has been used a a perfume. It absorbs easily into the skin and remains for an extended amount of time. Those who have sensitivity to other perfumes can tolerate orange blossom water, generally because there are no other chemical ingredients in it.

3. As A Hand Freshener
A traditional use for centuries in the Middle East it was common to offer a guest a small bowl of water with orange blossom in it when they arrived to your home. The guests hands would be cleansed by the water and perfumed by the orange blossom as they came from the outside in and it would refresh their senses.

4. An Orange Blossom Bath
Mix 2-3 cups of warm milk, 3 Tablespoons of honey and 1/4 cup of orange blossom water. Add this to your bath water and close your eyes and relax. Your skin will look and feel like satin. Orange blossom is excellent for skin, especially if yours is oily and sensitive.

5. Use it In Your Bedroom To Help You Sleep
As well as smelling fresh, orange blossom water is also well known for its calming and comforting effect. Sprinkle some on your bed sheets and the scent will help you to gently drift off to sleep. You can also sprinkle it on a cloth and hang from the headboard of your bed. It can stain some fabrics though, so try a little on a corner of the sheet first, to be safe.

6. As An Air Freshener
Put the orange blossom water in a spritzer and lightly mist the air in your home. Or place some in a pan of water on your stove. Let the water boil and then reduce the heat for it to simmer releasing the fragrance throughout your home. You can also use your essential oil difuser too.

7. Use it In Your Steam Iron
Add just a drop or two to the water in your steam iron and it will leave all your clothes with a long lasting blossoms scent as you iron.

8. It's a skin Toner
Like rosewater, it can replace your usual toner as a part of your beauty regime. You want to make sure the floral waters you use for skincare are pure, natural distillations to protect your skin.

9. Use As A Hair Rinse
You can pour a small amount of the orange blossom water over your hair after the final rinse. Since it is not an oil it will not leave your hair greasy or oily. It will add an intoxicating fragrance and shine.

10. Use it In Your Vacuum Cleaner
Add a few drops to your vacuum cleaner filter. As you vacuum the fragrance will be released and freshen your home as you clean.

  1. I have this and I use it as toner. May I also add that citrus scents can perk you up. If you are too sleepy at work, a whiff of lemon or orange will keep you alert.
