This Game Should Come With A Case Of Depends!!!

My family has always been big on playing games. Every year from Christmas we get a new one and just love playing it with our friends and extended family. Well we have a new one that has already been a hit and will keep on being a hit!!

The USAopoly company contacted me and asked if I would like to host a party with some of my friends and try out their new game, Telestrations. I was thrilled they asked and what fun that party ended up being. 

The game is really easy, once you can get every one settled down enough to play and explain it. I think half our fun came from explaining the game to each other. It's kind of like that old game called Telephone. You start with a word or phrase and say it to your neighbor, and they say to the next, and then the next, and so on. You finally end up with some crazy thing by the time it gets back to the original person. 

Here's what you get in the game...

With Telestrations you start out with a word or phase, any number of things they give you on one of the cards in the deck they provide. You write the word down in a very handy little booklet made up of wipe-off pages. This is where the twist comes in. After you write the word or phrase you draw the word or phrase. The next person looks at the drawing (not the word) and guesses what it is and writes the word or phrase. The next draws, the next guesses, and so on. Well with the pictures added to the whole thing you never know what you are going to come up with! Let's just say that they should offer the game with a case of Depends because the laughter never seems to stop, and for a bunch of ladies all over 40, well... LOL!!

One turn really got all of us going. Somehow the words orange peel ended up being a boob job!! How in the world they made that kind of leap we still can't figure out! But the girl who was trying to explain it all got everyone giggling so much one almost fell out of her chair, another got up and left the room and a third said she almost peed her pants!! The giggling and guffaws never stopped the whole game. This has to be one of the best games we have played in a long time!

Here's how it went, it started out mildly humorous and went from there... 

Jane drew a picture of Big Foot, sort of!!

 Now we are on to the whole orange peel fiasco!! 

All I can say is I have not laughed that hard in a long time!!

Shirley, on the left, was giggling so hard she was shaking!!

Carol, on the left, said she almost peed her pants she was laughing so hard and Sharon, on the right, left the room for a while!! She was doubled over shaking as she did!! Too funny!!

So, what do my friends and I think about the game? Well since the party we have played it again and everyone keeps asking me when we can play it some more. If you see the game out there buy it now cause by Christmas it will be gone. I have a feeling it is really going to catch on and big!  This is by far one of the BEST new games in a long, long time!! Thanks USAopoly for sending me the game so I could share it with my friends and family! It's a BIG hit!!
