Gleam Body Radiance by Melanie Mills

Melanie Mills is an Emmy Award-winning makeup artist and the creator of the Gleam Beauty Collection. The line started with Gleam Body Radiance, which was created to spread Gleamaliciousness on the set of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” – evening out spray tans (or act as a bronzer without a spray tan) while also adding moisture and making skin glow. Melanie has since expanded the product line, adding Gleam Lip Radiance and then the newest addition, Radiant Dust, which complements Gleam Body Radiance and can be used as a blush, bronzer, highlighter, eye shadow, or anywhere on the body. Soon there will be Gleam Makeup Brushes avaialble  for flawless application and coverage.

I was given the chance to try out the Gleam Body Radiance in the Rose Gold color which happens to be Melanie Mills’ signature color and personal favorite. This was the first shade she created for the celebrities and dancers on “Dancing with the Stars” with the goal of being “liquid metal” for the skin by emulating real Rose Gold.

The Body Radiance comes in 4 different shade, Light Gold, Rose Gold, Bronze Gold, and Deep Gold.

I was surprised at how it really looked on my skin. I was afraid it would look heavy and too made up, but it blends in very well and gives your skin a beautiful shine and radiance.

You can see in the pictures that the Gleam Body Radiance adds a shine and shimmer to your skin, but it is not overpowering or showy. It's very light and effective.

I will say that my husband is not very fond of it, but then he would rather i not wear any makeup at all. But I like it. It has a lovely light fragrance and applies easily and evenly. It also washes off with little trouble as any makeup would, and not staining my clothes is a great bonus!
