Moms' Night Out ~ A Fabulous Book and A Fabulous Devotional!!

If you are in need of a really good laugh and a few moments to escape stress, this is the book for you. I don't know a Mom out there that could not relate to much of the craziness of daily life that happens in this book. We all have times when it just seems like too much! In the book the moms get to take that much needed break from daily life and that is when everything goes really crazy.

If you don't laugh pretty much through the whole book I would be surprised. It really is very funny and although not likely to happen in any one's real life, it seems very real! it's just one nutty thing happening after another and really makes you want to see the movie.

This books can really help all moms see how important they are even when they don't feel like it! You'll love it!

About the book:
Moms' Night Out is a novelization of the hilarious family comedy that celebrates real family life---where everything can go wrong and still turn out all right.

All Allyson and her friends want is a peaceful, grown-up evening of dinner and conversation . . . a long-needed moms' night out. But in order to enjoy high heels, adult conversation and food not served in a bag, they need their husbands to watch the kids for a few hours-what could go wrong?

Chronicling one night out gone awry, three harried moms, their husbands, a sister-in-law with a misplaced baby, a tattoo parlor owner, a motorcycle gang, and a bewildered cabbie all learn to embrace the beautiful mess called parenting. This book spotlights the unfulfilled expectations and serial self-doubts many moms feel . . . then reassures us that the key is raising kids in a loving home. Mom's Night Out is an endearing, true-to-life comedy.

This has to be one of the sweetest devotional books I have seen in a while. It was inspired by the Moms' Night Out Movie and book. Each of the short devotionals has a story that moms can relate to. Even if the exact thing has not happened in your life, there is something similar you can draw from your own world. The biblical application is woven through the devotions and encourages the reader to rely on the Lord through what sometimes seems like a hum-drum life of repetition. This would make a wonderful gift for any young mom and for an older mom to remind her where she came from and how she could encourage the young women in her life!

About the book:
As a Mom, couldn't you use a good laugh?
