What I Thought About the Book:

I can't begin to tell you the number of times I have felt more like a Martha than a Mary! I get consumed in the whats of things that have to be done instead of who it is for. The daily devotions that Janna has put together help you to keep your focus on what it important, not what you think is important. Getting perspective in line is vital. Each of the days have snip-its taken from her Bethany trilogy and the thoughts and questions really hit home. They really encourage you to keep working at a daily devotion time which is vital in your walk with Christ! I also love that she has tips on helping you to enrich and deepen your study as well as a read through the Bible in a year schedule in the back. Most of us could use some encouragement in our daily reading of the Word and this book helps to encourage that a lot! You want to go back the next day to continue on!
