My family has always been big on playing games. Every year for Christmas we get a new one and just love playing it with our friends and extended family. Well we have a new one that has already been a hit and will keep on being a hit!!
I was thrilled when I got the chance through Tryazon to play this amazing game with some friends!! It is a hoot!!
The game is really easy, once you can get every one settled down enough to play and explain it. I think half our fun came from explaining the game to each other. It's kind of like that old game called Telephone. You start with a word or phrase and say it to your neighbor, and they say to the next, and then the next, and so on. You finally end up with some crazy thing by the time it gets back to the original person.
Here's what you get in the game...
With Telestrations you start out with a word or phase, any number of things they give you on one of the cards in the deck they provide. You write the word down in a very handy little booklet made up of wipe-off pages. This is where the twist comes in. After you write the word or phrase you or the next player draws the word or phrase. The next person looks at the drawing (not the word) and guesses what it is and writes the word or phrase. The next draws, the next guesses, and so on. Well with the pictures added to the whole thing you never know what you are going to come up with! Let's just say that they should offer the game with a case of Depends because the laughter never seems to stops!!
Here is an example, although no where near as funny as anything we came up with!!
The game is super funny and you really don't know what is going to happen. It all depends on what each person thinks they are looking at in the drawings. Some of us can draw well, some not so much, and that is where the fun really gets going.

So, what do my friends and I think about the game? Well since the party we have played it again and everyone keeps asking me when we can play it some more. If you see the game out there buy it now, they sell out fast. I have a feeling it will be a big hit with your family! This is by far one of the BEST games in a long, long time!!
