Still Time To Enjoy Some Relaxation In A Beautiful Hammock

It's the last day of summer, but there are still plenty of days yet to enjoy beautiful weather. I love this time of year. The days are warm, but not too hot, and the evenings are cool enough for a light sweater. It's a comfortable time of year! Since we live near the beach of Lake Michigan, it's also a good time to enjoy the breezes laying in a comfy hammock.

Nothing says beach comfort more than a woven hammock like the one from Cove 32 Imports. This one is the Handmade Caribbean Matrimonial Hammock in black and white.

The hammock is really big. It's big enough to hold two people with a total weight of up to 550 pounds. That's a lot of people!! The whole thing is 13' long and about 4' wide at the widest part. It really is a nice hammock in appearance. My problem is it just doesn't look like it would hold me, yet alone me and someone else.

But it does! It is really well made and feels so comfy when you get in it. What I really like about this one compared to parachute or canvas material hammocks is the breath-ability of it. Since it is made of woven material, there is plenty of air circulation. You don't get hot and sticky in it like you can with one made from solid material.

The hammock works well on a hammock frame or hanging from one tree to the next. It is super easy to set up. You do need to be careful not to get the ends tangled when setting it up, taking it down, or storing it, but as long as you take care, it should be fine.

This is a nice and comfy hammock that looks fantastic! It would be great for pretty much any setting, but would look especially good next to the pool!

Love Using This Hammock With A Steel Stand! Lots Of Fun!

Believe it or not, hammocks can be used all year long. I know you may think I am a little off here, but hammocks are fun and comfortable to lay in and you can use some all year long.

This hammock from Ohuhu is the perfect example. It's the Double Hammock With Space Saving Steel Stand and Portable Carrying Case. This is really a neat hammock and perfect for use in lots of places.

The hammock comes in a big box and is a smidge heavy, but not so much that I couldn't handle it by myself. Everything you need is included in the box. You don't need a single tool to help you put it together. There are clear instructions and it takes maybe 5 minutes to put together, but that was the first time. I think from here on out, it will take less time.

The 100% cotton cloth the hammock is made from is really nice, bright and comfy. It comes in a small, matching carrying case that you can use to store the hammock or take it along with you to hang from tree straps if you would like. The stitching on the cloth is secure and done very well. It can hold up to 450 pounds, which is a lot! So two adults can snuggle just fine in this!!

I really like the big carrying case that comes with this. It will be perfect for helping to store this over the winter when we don't need it, and also easy to get back out if we do need it for a spare sleeping over guest. It has long handles so you can easily carry it by yourself. Plus it would fit in your car trunk or the back of an SUV with no problem.

This would be a fun thing to have for use outside in a nice shady spot or inside in a man cave or one of your kid's rooms. It's a lot of fun!

Top Quality Hammock Tree Straps From MLVOC Reviewed By Lisa

My sweet blog assistant, Lisa, loves hammocks and loves using them! So when we got in some tree straps for a hammock she was very happy to try them out. Here's what she thought about them.

I loved these hammock tree straps from MLVOC right out of the bag! They are made of strong durable polyester material and I am very impressed with the quality of the stitching. They are double, triple and even stitched up to 6 times at each loop. They have 18 attachment loops for 18 different variations to hang the hammock, so no matter how big or small the tree, they will be a perfect fit the first time.

There is no need to adjust these straps because they have a loop right where you need it each and every time you go to set-up your hammock. It's the fastest and easiest time I have ever set-up my hammock. The 2 tree straps and 2 carabiners (safety locks) come in a free carrying pouch which makes them easy to access and easy to store. These MLVOC hammock tree straps are strong enough to hold up to 2000 lbs. and they look it and feel like it. They are also made of non-stretch adjustable eco-friendly material that is light-weight and weather resistant. They are super easy to strap on and then just roll up and store away in the carrying pouch. My 9 year old daughter can do it all by herself in no time.

I was not impressed with the 2 carabiners that are included with the set. They do not appear to be as superior in quality as the straps. They look and feel very cheaply made. I did not feel they would be safe enough to hold much weight, but that didn't change my opinion about the high quality of the tree straps.

So thankful I had the pleasure of reviewing these MLVOC hammock tree straps, they are great! I highly recommend these to you!

When I got a hammock to try out, I knew exactly who to ask to test it for me; Lisa! When I told her about it, she was super excited. This hammock is made from a quick drying parachute-like triple-stitched seamed nylon material that is both mildew and weather resistant. The hammock is guaranteed to hold up to 450 pounds, which is a lot, so would work for most couples. It is very durable and so easy to set-up. The material is also guaranteed to not fade or bleed as it is exposed to the elements, sun and rain. Plus if it gets dirty you can toss it in the washing machine to clean it. Can't be much easier than that!

I was very surprised at how big it is! I can't wait to take it to the camp ground and relax in it. I have a few other "campers" in the family that are definitely going to want one of these hammocks. They look great set-up. It only takes about 5 minutes to set-up or take down, and it comes in 2 nylon storage bags, one for the straps and the other for the hammock. It can be easily stored in a small area, which is great when packing to go camping!

The hammock comes with 11' Poly-Filament Webbed tree straps with incorporated dual looped stainless steel lashing ring and unique triple running stitch to prevent stretching while still allowing simple setup. That's a mouthful! Basically it means that the straps are made in a way to make hanging the hammock easy and safe. The extra effort in making a quality product is evident!

The hammock measures 9′ 10″ long by 6′ 6″ wide. It can hold up to 450 lbs. like I mentioned.  I love my new hammock, I can't wait to show it off at the camp ground while relaxing in comfort.
