“Compact,
Sturdy, Easy to Use”
This
rechargeable flashlight seems sturdy and
switches easily from one mode to the next [there are 5 in total]. Many flashlights with
brightness levels have little difference between the settings. Not
so with this one. The zoom feature also has a practical range.
The
light also has “strobe” and “SOS” modes.
The
rechargeable battery [18650] is, according the the user guide,
replaceable, but I could not open the compartment by hand. A USB
cable is included, and the USB port is protected when not in use.
When fully charged, the light worked continuously for about five
hours on maximum [1000 lumens] brightness. Once it was completely
drained of power, the battery recharged in eight to ten hours when
connected to a computer's USB port.
As
long as the user has access to a USB compatible charging system, this
flashlight seems more convenient that ones that require removing the
battery and placing it in a special charger. This model, along with
its charging cable, can be stored easily in its original box and
takes up little space.
All in all, he really likes the light and he won't give it back to me.

ReplyDeleteWe live very rural without any street lights so we all have headlamps and flashlights. My son could really use a new one though.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this for our family in the kitchen drawer, in case the electricity goes out!
