A Fun Mug For Dad On Father's Day

With Father's Day just around the corner, it's time to think of some gifts for the dads in your life. At our house, one thing we like to do is give a fun gift and a serious gift. I have a fun gift today for you to consider for all those dads you gift.

The company GearBest has a nifty Self Stirring Mug that will help dad get his coffee in the morning and do it little easier!

The Self Stirring Mug holds about 14 ounces of liquid and as it says in it's name, it stirs the liquid for you. It's really easy. The mug take 2 AAA batteries (not included, so plan ahead) to stir things.

In the bottom of the mug is a small propeller-like thing that spins very fast and very quietly. I was surprised at how quiet it is. It spins when you hold down the small yellow button on the top of the mug handle. So with one hand you can hold you mug ad stir it too.

It stirs really, really well too. I was pleased with how well it mixes in not only creamer, but sugar and sweetener too. I didn't try it with hot cocoa mix, but I am guessing if you add a little at a time, it should mix it just fine. The neat thing is if you add creamer as it is stirring it kind of froths the creamer while it is mixing.

The mug also comes with a lid so you can take it with you on the go. The lid fits neatly in the top, but is not super snug. So far it has not leaked on us, but I would be careful since it is not super snug. The mug also needs to be hand washed because of the motor in it and should not be immersed in water at all!

This is just a fun little thing that would put a smile on dad's face and he would enjoy his coffee every morning, or at work, and remember the sweet person who gave it to him!
