This Is One Serious Ice Cream Scoop

I seriously do not know anyone who does not like ice cream. Even my husband and one son who are semi-lactose intolerant like ice cream. It's just yummy.

What's not fun is trying to dig out super frozen ice cream form a container. Sometimes you need a jack hammer to get it out, and if you use the "dip the scoop in the warm water" routine, well it melts the ice cream a little too much. That's not any fun! Or you can leave the ice cream out on the counter for a little while to "soften it" and by the time you scoop out some for everyone, well, you have a semi-melted mess. That's not fun either!

So what do you do?

Easy, get the Sumo Stainless Steel Ice Cream Scoop. Over the years I have had all kinds of scoops in our house, but nothing like this one! This crazy thing weighs in at a whopping half pound! Seriously! It's heavy. But it's not too heavy to use.

The handle is a comfortable rubber grip that fits your hand really well. With some arthritis setting in, I don't have any trouble gripping this and scooping anything with it. The stainless steel stays cold enough to keep the ice cream from sticking in the scoop, but it is plenty powerful enough to get through even really super frozen ice cream. I was really surprised at how easy it was to get out the ice cream.

The scoop is fantastic. We love how easy it scoops and that it can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. I even tried it out with several other things besides ice cream and it has worked well with everything we have tried.

You can purchase your own Sumo Ice Cream Scoop (and I highly recommend you do) HERE!
