KitchenMade has an awesome set of measuring cups that I really, really like a lot. The top quality polished stainless steel measuring cups are made with a real cook in mind. I was impressed first of all, with the weight of them. They aren't heavy, but they are sturdy and I know they will hold up to a lot of use and abuse. Each time I have used them they have washed up easily and still look great.
Here is how they are marked:
- 1 Cup is marked with 1 cup, 3/4 cup and 1/2 cup
- 3/4 Cup is marked with 3/4 cup, 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup
- 2/3 Cup is marked with 2/3 cup, 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup
- 1/2 Cup is marked with 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup
- 1/3 Cup is marked with 1/3 cup and 1/4 cup
- 1/4 Cup is marked with 1/4 cup and 1/6 cup
I really appreciate the 1/6 cup measure. It's a very uncommon measurement, but as I am cooking for less at home now, it really comes in handy. I think the only measurement I would have like added would be 1/8 cup.
The handles have clear markings on them as well and include ML measurements. They have a simple groove in them to help facilitate stacking easily. The handles stay put inside the one below it and don't slide around. I also love the holes at the end, large enough to hang up without fussing with a hook.
The measuring cups also have a very handy pour spout making them very functional. You don't need separate ones for dry measure and liquid measure, and with the extra markings on each cup that is a great way to use them. It will save space in your cupboard and save money. Being able to melt butter in these and pour out is a time saver too. They hold up to heat and it's easy to pour.
I have a feeling I won't be needing new measuring cups for a very, very long time!
