When we received the package in the mail, my son was eager to try it out. It took him less than 5 minutes to install it. We both were quite surprised at how easy it was. He did not have to use a single tool. It does come with plumber tape just in case you need a snugger fit and to prevent possible leaks, but we didn't have to use it. There were no leaks to start with and since he has been using it everyday, none have appeared.
He is quite tall and was able to adjust it to be at just the right height for him. He loves how it feels when he showers, although he does wish there was just a bit more pressure coming through. It's a lighter fall of water than a standard showerhead since the water is not being forced through fewer openings.
