A Fragile Hope Is A Must-Read Book

Cynthia Ruchti is one of my favorite authors. Every book I have read by her has been wonderful and this one is no exception.

A Fragile Hope has characters that you want to learn about. They feel so real as you read along. As they go through struggles, you feel like you are going through them as well. Cynthia has a way of pulling you into the story and you don't want to leave.

Josiah is a character that any person could relate to through the struggle he has with his marriage and with his relationship with God. I love how you see him realize the problems he is having and then learning to rely on God and the strength and hope that He alone can bring. You find yourself aching along with him and joy as he finds true hope to cling to.

This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it to you.

Cynthia Ruchti Draws You In Right From The First Page Of Her New Book Song Of Silence

I was excited to receive a copy of this book by Cynthia Ruchti. I love her writing. This book was by no means a disappointment. Right from the beginning, she gets a hold of your heart and draws you in to the world she has created on the pages. The fact that this book centers around the love of God and music really captured me. Music is important to me and God has used it in so many special ways in my own life.

The characters feel so real. Cynthia developed them so deeply that you feel like you know them personally. I found myself caught up in their emotions and troubles as well as the way God moved in their lives in a very special way. It was so easy to see through their story how God has done similar things in my life.

This is a wonderful book, and I highly recommend it to you!

Tattered and Mended Is A Book Filled With Hope For Wounded Souls

This is a book I can completely relate to. For years I felt worn out, useless and unwanted. I struggled with it to the point I thought I would never get beyond it. When Cynthia is telling personal stories I could feel the struggle and feel the emotional hurts and pains. What I noticed the most throughout this book is the theme of hope, the hope we have in Christ and His work being done in us. It is a beautifully written book with touches of love and courage and determination to lean on God and His Word. Cynthia is open and honest and not preaching at anyone through her words. She is living it with each and every one of us who have struggled with the same feelings of being worn thin and useless. This is an excellent read!!
