Something Simple And Very Effective, No Major Bells Or Whistles, Just a Good Product

Not all bathroom scales are the same, and it is hard to figure out exactly what one you want to get sometimes. Seriously, some of them are so advanced you almost need a computer degree to work with them. Although those may be nice for some people, I prefer one that does one job, weighs me and my family and is easy to use.

L&Z Inc has the Coosh CBS001B Precision Digital Bathroom Scale, and that's all it is! It's a scale and a good scale.

I love that the scale is wide and has a larger platform to stand on. You don't have to worry about having your feet "just so" to get your weight, and it is good for someone who has slightly larger feet like my guys (we have a size 11, size 13 and size 15 shoe in our house).

The Coosh scale is very thin! At it's widest it is about 1" thick. The auto on and off makes it nice because you don't have to think about turning it on and then remembering to turn it off. It also remembers no one's weight, so others can't peek at what you weigh if you want to keep that a secret. Some of us are like that!

The top of the scale is very nice with the tempered glass platform. It's easy to clean off , but it does show every little smudge. I would recommend care stepping on it with wet or damp feet. That's Bender's nose in the picture just above. He was fascinated with the whole process! LOL!

My only real problem with the scale was that while it does come with an instruction book, it did not have in the book how to change the weight from kilograms to pounds. I found the button for that after searching the scale carefully and it is easy to use. It just would have been nice to have it shown in a photo or drawing in the booklet. In the picture above, the button for adjusting to what weight you want to go by is just to the right on my thumb in that little opening it shows.

We like this scale and my son now has it in his bathroom to use all the time!

I thought so! I really don't know anyone who likes to weigh themselves, but it is something we need to do to help reach or maintain a healthy body; no fun, but necessary.

Not only does the scale give you an accurate weight it also indicates you BMI which is a better indication of your overall health.

The scale also remembers you last weight indicated by L1, the average of your last 3 weigh-ins, L3, and the last 7 weigh-ins, L7. This can give you a clear indication of how your weight is fluctuating or remaining consistent. It's great for showing progress loosing too! Very encouraging.

And yet it can be a gentle, although a little annoying, reminder of how you need to watch your weight better. For users who would rather just focus on their weight trend without worrying so much about the actual numbers, the WeightMaster features Color Alert Technology, which displays your weight change in a GREEN illumination for weight loss and RED for weight gain, providing a visual form of feedback. I like and dislike this feature. It's no fun seeing the red, but it motivates me!

It was easy to set up and start using. The instruction booklet it comes with is easy to follow and implement. Once you enter your height (which you get get to a very accurate measurement) you can establish your starting weight and then continue as that user to check your gains or losses from there on. The scale can record the information for up to 5 individuals, so it's great for a whole family to use. I love how easy the information on the scale is so easily read too. Some scales have such small numbers they are hard to read (I have bad eyes), but these are great!
