I love devotional books. They make it fun and interesting to see others perspectives on the Word and they help direct your thoughts for the day in the right direction.
Well this devotional book is not like others. It has a lovely twist to it that I really like. Yes, there are interesting perspectives on God's Word and thoughts to encourage me to think in the right direction (especially about Christmas), but it also has so much more!
Each day there is a short devotion helping you to keep you perspective right during the busy Christmas holiday. the devotion is followed by a song. I love this. How often have you really thought about the songs we sing around Christmas and what they really mean. It is then followed by a practical thing to do, make a gift, bake a special recipe, and more. I just love how it helps aim your thoughts and deeds to stay centered around Christ and sharing Him with others!
