KitchenMade 6 Piece Set Of Stainless Steel Measuring Cups Review and Giveaway

As an avid baker having quality tools in my kitchen is really important. When you use things as often as I do, you don't want to have to replace them often. It's worth it to spend a little extra money once and have a product lasts for many, many years to come!

KitchenMade has an awesome set of measuring cups that I really, really like a lot. The top quality polished stainless steel measuring cups are made with a real cook in mind. I was impressed first of all, with the weight of them. They aren't heavy, but they are sturdy and I know they will hold up to a lot of use and abuse. Each time I have used them they have washed up easily and still look great.

Each measuring cup is clearly marked so it is easy to use them. I love how on each one there are other measurements as well. Inevitably I use one cup for something messy and then need it again for something dry. But with the extra markings it is easy to use another cup quickly. They are marked clearly on the outside and you can see them very well on the inside too, something lots of other cups I have tried did not provide.

Here is how they are marked:
  • 1 Cup is marked with 1 cup, 3/4 cup and 1/2 cup
  • 3/4 Cup is marked with 3/4 cup, 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup
  • 2/3 Cup is marked with 2/3 cup, 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup
  • 1/2 Cup is marked with 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup
  • 1/3 Cup is marked with 1/3 cup and 1/4 cup
  • 1/4 Cup is marked with 1/4 cup and 1/6 cup
I really appreciate the 1/6 cup measure. It's a very uncommon measurement, but as I am cooking for less at home now, it really comes in handy. I think the only measurement I would have like added would be 1/8 cup.

The handles have clear markings on them as well and include ML measurements. They have a simple groove in them to help facilitate stacking easily. The handles stay put inside the one below it and don't slide around. I also love the holes at the end, large enough to hang up without fussing with a hook.

The measuring cups also have a very handy pour spout making them very functional. You don't need separate ones for dry measure and liquid measure, and with the extra markings on each cup that is a great way to use them. It will save space in your cupboard and save money. Being able to melt butter in these and pour out is a time saver too. They hold up to heat and it's easy to pour.

I have a feeling I won't be needing new measuring cups for a very, very long time!
