How do you know the difference though, between an allergy and a cold? Simple, allergy symptoms hit all at once, they can last for weeks or months and they produce generally a clear, thin watery mucus. Colds, on the other hand, have symptoms that appear one at a time, clear up in about a week, and have a thick yellow mucus.
There are different types of allergies, Outdoor and Indoor. Outdoor allergies are considered Seasonal Allergies. Indoor allergies are considered Year-Round Allergies. No matter what kind of allergy it is, you and your kids are bound to have stuffy noses. It's tough as Moms to watch our kids go through things like this. They can be miserable and often their poor little noses get pretty beat up with all the wiping and rubbing with tissues.
That's where Boogie Wipes and Boogie Mist come to the rescue! Thanks to Boogie Wipes and Boogie Mist that contain a gentle saline solution, your kid's noses don't have to end up rough and red from all the wiping because of allergies (or colds). They gently alleviate the stuffiness and help keep your little ones noses much happier, which in turn makes you much happier!
But let's face it, even though it is tough to watch our kids go through it, sometimes they say some pretty funny things about how their little noses feel when they are runny and stuffy.
Here are just a few some of us who are Saline Ambassadors for Boogie Wipes have heard either with our own kids or kids we know:
- My nose burns mommy. I have fire in there.
- Mommy, I have a booger block!
- I have spiders and kiwis in his nose.
- Mommy, my nose is like the drippy faucet in the bathroom.
- Mom, he's got a shoelace hanging out of his nose!
Kids can come up with some of the funniest things! What funny things have your kids said?
