A few weeks ago I received a nice little box at my house. I got it for being a BzzAgent and it was my chance to try out Burt's Bees Intense Hydration products. I received the following:
- Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser
- Intense Hydration Night Cream
- Intense Hydration Treatment Mask
I was excited to be able to try them because I have found as I have gotten older that my skin has changed a lot. I am blessed to not have many wrinkles or even fine lines, but at the same time I do have dry patches here and there. In fact they are so bad at times that my skin will almost flake and peel. It's not fun at all!! So trying out something that is 99% natural and going to hydrate my skin was something I really wanted to do!
I started with the Cream Cleanser. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleaned and how nice my face felt when I was done. So many other cleansers have made my face feel tight and dry after washing. But this product didn't cause that to happen. My face felt soft and refreshed. That's a new and wonderful feeling!
Then I went on to the Treatment Mask. It was interesting to use. I'll admit I have never been one who likes to use masks or peels. I don't really like the feel of them on my face for an extended time like that. This one, for a mask, was not so bad. Although I did have the weird feeling I get wearing a mask, the fragrance didn't bother me like some do and how it was making my face feel over all didn't bother me. This may just be a mask I won't feel so icky about using. My face felt great afterwards.
On to the Night Cream. This product is one I enjoyed a lot, although I have had to learn how much is just the right amount to use. It has made my face feel so creamy soft that even my husband has noticed. Several of my friends have even said that my skin looks good. Considering the amount of stress I have been under these past few weeks (my husband almost died Nov 1st, but is on the road to recovery now), I am thrilled with how good my skin looks! Stress can do a number on you, but this Night Cream has helped keep the problems at bay. Well I think all of the products have!
Cost-wise I really think they are worth the results. So many products cost a lot to get, but these are reasonable and considering a little goes a very long way with all of them, even better!! Very much worth the money for them. My only wish was to have had the Day Lotion as well. I would have loved to try it along with the Night Cream instead of using my regular day moisturizer. But all in all I was very happy with them!!
