No Safe Harbor ~ A Mystery and Romance Must Read!!!

About the Book:

She came to America for her brother. Instead all she's found is a web of danger.
Carar Hamilton had thought her brother to be dead. Now, clutching to his letter, she leaves Ireland for America, desperate to find him. Her search leads her to a houseful of curious strangers, and one man who claims to be a friend - Rourke Walsh. Despite her brother's warning, Cara trusts Rourke, revealing her purpose in coming to New York.
She's then thrust into a world of subterfuge, veiled threats, and attempted murder, including political revolutionaries from the homland out for revenge. Her questions guide her ever nearer to locating her brother - but they also bring her closer to destruction as those who want to kill him track her footsteps. With her faith in tatters, all hope flees. Will her brother finally surface? Can he save Cara from the truth about Rourke... a man she's grown to love?

What I thought about the book:

I love a good mystery! I love a good mystery that involves a romance even more. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat almost the whole way through. It is a real page turner, as the expression goes. With each part I just wanted to know more and more about the characters and what was going to happen to them. The whole way through the big question of whether or not Cara finds her brother just kept you routing for her and wanting the answer. I won't tell you if she found him. I don't want to spoil it for you. But watching Cara grow throughout the story, from a concerned young woman to a strong and determined young woman was wonderful. The author, Elizabeth, has a wonderful descriptive manner to her writing that helps you feel like you are right there with the characters, living this along with them. You could almost see the events happening as Cara and the other characters lived them. It was wonderful!!

I received a copy of the book for the purpose of this review. I was not compensated in any other way. All opinions expressed here are my own.
