The uniquely packaged Hot Buttons Series is an accessible, quick-reference resource that parents can use to equip their children to make the right decisions, even in the face of peer pressure and outside influences. What I Thought About The Books:

Seldom do I find books for young people that I really, really want to endorse. Way too many of them are namby-pamby and just barely cover subjects in a way that will get a teens attention yet alone keep it. In these four books by Nicole teens can really learn some very important things about making good and appropriate choices for their lives. But the best thing is that the way Nicole wrote the books it keeps their attention! Lots of books have good info, seldom keep the reader involved! The reader can't help but get involved here.

Nicole uses practical and appropriate examples and stories to relate things to the lives of kids today. It's rough out there and peer pressure seems to be worse than ever. So many distractions and choices bombard them every day. I think the one that was most needed was the Internet Edition. I find it hard sometimes drawing lines on line, so I know teens can find it just as hard if not harder!

One of the neatest parts of the books are the chapter checklists. It helps remind the reader what was covered and what was most important to remember in the chapter. It is also a good reference to go back to later for helpful reminders! But I also love how it draws in the parent's involvement. That is so needed!! I highly recommend these books for both teens and the parents of teens!
