Being A Big Baby Has Never Been So Much Fun!
Don't most people enjoy dressing up as something else for different occasions? Not just Halloween either. There seems to be more and more events where costumes are part of the whole thing. And costumes can be a lot of fun. I have never been too much on costumes, but do occasionally like to take part in things where costumes are required . I was given an opportunity to try out a costume from AnytimeCostumes.com. I'll be honest with you, I had a hard time picking out which one I wanted to try. I was really surprised when I went to the site and saw how many kinds and varieties of costumes they had. The choices were a lot of fun to go through and I narrowed mine down to this one!
No that is not me! And I will not show you me in the costume. It was hard enough for me to wear it over to church for the kids! Is that not just the funniest costume?! This costume brought so many laughs and giggles when I first told people about it, and then showed up in it! They could not believe how fun it was. The kids at church just loved it as an object lesson about acting like a big baby! We came up with a lot of fun ways we could use it and for different occasions too. Our church has a big baby shower each year to support a local charity and we are surely going to use it then. I can even see us pulling it out for some of the goofy women's nights we have.
The costume is made really well. The material is heavy enough to really cover things you might not want to be seen, but light enough that you don't feel like you will get over-heated. I do have one small complaint about it though. The section at the top where you zip it up does not open enough to really feel comfortable putting it on. I was afraid I might rip out the zipper. For a very skinny runway model, no problem. But for the average and especially the above average sized person that opening is just not enough!! I also like how the costume comes in a snap shut heavy plastic bag, so when I am not using it I can store it easily and safely.

What I Thought About The Book:
I will tell you right up front, I am a disaster-aholic! I love movies, stories, television where the world is in imminent danger or major disaster hits an area. I was excited when I read the description of the book. Meteor strike, tsunamis, volcanoes, earthquakes, it has them all! I was thrilled! Then I started reading the book. It took me forever to really get into the story. I think I approached it with much higher expectations than I should have. it was not what i would call a typical disaster story.
It is good in the sense that we watch all the small community went through to work their problems out, how a small group came together to make plans for their future. One man, who seemingly did not have all the qualifications you would think needed to do the job is called on to accomplish a huge project. It also shows how man seeks after God and how through all the difficulties and conflicting information He can still be found, wants to be found.
I certainly can't say this is a book I would call a favorite. My husband and sons would like it more than I did. But by the time you got going with the story line you wanted to know how things would work out and how things would end up for especially Sam Mitchell.

Chuck Graham's legal career as an attorney in private practice spanned more than thirty-one years. He represented many local, national, and international clients, acquiring intricate knowledge about the often-overlapping structures of the corporate world. He also worked against those seeking to create racial division, including the Ku Klux Klan. He has served as a member of the state bar of Georgia since 1979 and an instructor to attorneys and judges through the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE). He received the Medallion of Appreciation from ICLE.

Basic H2 Is Amazing!! Plus A Giveaway!!!
I am a cleaning fanatic. I always have been. So finding products that work are easy to use and don't cost me a fortune is important. Recently I was sent a sample of Shaklee's Basic H2. When I received it I thought there was no way this tiny little plastic bottle was going to make enough cleaner to do much of anything. WOW!! Was I ever wrong! This stuff is amazing.
It is so easy to use. For making window and mirror cleaner you just mix 2 drops, seriously, just 2 drops, and mix it with 16 oz of water. The glass cleans so well and just sparkles leaving no streaks!! I love that! Plus in the bathroom, at least for us, there wasn't as much steam build-up on the mirror with showers as with other cleaners.
This shows, although a little blurry, how small the package really is!
This is before cleaning. Yuck!! I had no idea how bad it was till I took the picture!! I'm glad it is in an out of the way part of my house!!

This is almost done. I couldn't believe how quick it cleaned. Less than half the time it normally does and with little to no effort! You could see it cleaning as it sprayed out of the bottle!!
I think what I love the most is that there is so much less packaging than other products. The tiny little package it comes in makes more than 32 oz of product. And you don't have to use as much of the spray as you would other things to get the job done, so less use there too! I also love that it is organic, no toxins and is safe to use around my dogs and cat, plus any of the little munchkins that frequent my home too! This is very important to me!

I LOVE Saving Money!!!
I went shopping today with my husband. We were only going to pick up a few things. Well you know how that goes, a few ends up being a little more, then a little more. Well $102.48 later we had our stuff, that is before coupons!!!
After the cashier went through all the coupons and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the number go down and down we ended up with a total of $54.44 including the tax. That number would have been much lower had I not spied all the neat school supplies on sale that I wanted to pick up for a project I am working on. What I Thought About The Book:
I was absolutely enthralled with this book! I could not put it down. For years this very subject has been near and dear to my heart, so to see someone express many of the same things I have been thinking and saying in such a wonderful way is a blessing. Beth brought home the fact that all of our lives are intricately entwined and we can not escape that. She also enforced that there is something each and every one of us is called to do and we need to be receptive and obedient to that call. Although this book was written primarily for teens I can really see this being something to hit home with many adults. They need to hear this as much as the young people do.
I really love the Leader's Resource that came with it. So many helpful things are available to share this amazing book with a class to help inspire them to do the same as Beth and the others in the book.
